Why do you think it's wrong for someone else to be gay?

Do you have an answer that actually makes sense? Don’t answer that. You don’t.
Nothing to contribute, but I'm sure Oscar Wilde, Alan Turing, and so many others would have loved to have seen us (society or whatever) coming to our senses a lot earlier than we did. Given that I have seen the changes in the UK over the last several decades (from illegal to legal) and see it as being wholly good and beneficial for all - apart from the fixated and/or dogmatic ones who will insist as to some particular text being 'the truth'. o_O

If someone is of a religion that says it is wrong to be gay, and if that person believe everything that religion says, then obviously they are going to believe it is wrong for anybody to be gay. Makes perfect sense to me, why not to you? Please explain.

I mostly speak out against homosexuality because I am terrified of coming to terms with my own sexuality and project my own insecurities onto others. Also, seeing people being happy and comfortable in their own skin reminds me of the misery I experience every day hiding in the closet, so I have to make sure they are miserable too yo make myself feel better
I think to suggest people who speak out against homosexuality are people who are actually secret homosexuals themselves but don’t want anyone to know, is about as silly as suggesting those who speak out against abusing children are actually child abusers themselves but don’t want anybody to know. There may have been some actual cases of this happening, but to suggest this usually the case ignores the real issue.

Have you consider it might not be actually serious, but an absurd joke.

It has to do with disease. If Gay was natural, culture would not have problems with STD's levels that are common to gays. This may not be obvious, since medical science has ways to compensate for humans choices, that would be deadly, without extra medical science care.

Don't get me wrong, I believe in freedom of choices. But it is not being mean to point out potential problems with some choices. My problem caused by the other side; Left. It paints too rosy of a picture, and misleads by ignoring medial costs, labeling concerned citizen as a hater, for reporting science facts.

If I wanted to eat rocks, this would be my choice. However, common sense tells us this will cause issues with your teeth and digestive system. If the medical industries were set up logistics to treat the constant teeth and digestive issues, it may look OK on the surface, since chicken eat little rocks and they are fine. But that fact that so much extra care is needed is a tell; not organic.

I like to point out, the extra care means it has preventable problems, so each person can go into their choices, sober. If you still chose, that is your business, but don't call it green or organic, since adding proactive and/or remedial additives, is not the definition of organic. I am an organic male, since I am what I was born, and this does not require extra additives; not a magic trick.

A good magic trick often uses science and technology to create an illusion that appears to defy the laws of science. If I was to levitate my lovely assistant, above the stage, I would need to use science and technology, such as staging, levers, harnesses and even lighting. If the trick is successful, the audience will believe she can fly. I like to point out how social magic tricks are done using science and logic. If I owned a medical supply company, such medical magic tricks would a good business marketing model; see you can fly. I want the audience to enjoy the magic, but don't alter your life because of it.

Decent people have empathy for both abused children and homosexuals, and speak out in support of both, so I don't find the comparison apt.

But I agree that not all homophobes are closet homosexuals. Some are just worried that they might be because they find the same sex attractive and are afraid that their god knows, and so feel they need to show their god that they can demonize gays just as much as it does. Some are just trying to get a head start on hell for them here on earth to please their god, and some just like to use their religion to bully people.
