Why does no one admit chocolate is bad?

Come on everyone we all know it's bad, I mean it tastes like suger.....just sugar.

It is the most pointless think in the food world. I just feel like there is one big conspiracy that makes people want it.

So I'm going to give u an opportunity to write the truth down below. It's all anonymous anyway and it will be the first step to your recovery.

Chocolate is delightful and wonderful, has things in it that are good for us, and is a very delicious treat.
If it tastes just like sugar you may need better chocolate, as cheap/nasty chocolate has a strong sugar taste, as do many milk chocolates.
The only blaspheme is white "chocolate."

I can assure you that real chocolate does not taste like sugar

And of course there are several health benefits

It's very nutritious.
It is a powerful source of antioxidants.
It raises HDL and protects LDL from oxidation.
It helps production if endorphins is a mood enhancer
It contains epicatechin which improves muscle efficiency

And incomplete evidence.
It is suggested it may improve blood flow.
It could lower blood pressure.
It may reduce the risk of heart disease.
It seems it can protect our skin from exposure to the sun.
It could improve brain function.

I consider it an aphrodisiac
And it tastes great.

It's not really chocolate, but the left over fats and other stuff from making the chocolate, and because it has no cocoa solids it isn't really chocolate.

I have occasionally had really dark chocolate but I mostly like that because of the strong bitter flavour. Also the odd combination chocolate and chilli, who knew eh?

Quality matters.

After eating only organic chocolate for years, when I tried some of the Hersey's stuff checking out of the grocery line I was surprised to find it tasted like...salt. Sugar, I would have expected... but nope. And it wasn't a bad bar. I just was used to better quality.

If your chocolate is gross, try another kind. Maybe another brand, maybe another variant.

I don't drink* but use copious amounts of wine in cooking

* actually thats drink very little, maybe 3 or 4 glasses max per year

Also caution, chocolate is poisonous to dogs
