Why does no one admit chocolate is bad?

Come on everyone we all know it's bad, I mean it tastes like suger.....just sugar.

It is the most pointless think in the food world. I just feel like there is one big conspiracy that makes people want it.

So I'm going to give u an opportunity to write the truth down below. It's all anonymous anyway and it will be the first step to your recovery.
Chocolate is not bad. It's only bad if you eat a lot of it.

It does not taste - at all - like sugar. It tastes, often quite strongly, of chocolate.

Personally, I can take or leave chocolate, but I quite like a square of it with my coffee after lunch, while I do my daily sudoku.

Chocolate is fantastic. That much is clear.

If you haven't read this book, you should.

If you have read it, you should read it again.

"Be strong", I whispered to my coffee.

And it sticks to the pot and burns when you re-heat it. (But it definitely tastes great.)

Ive never done that, but only because of how i do it. I always make twice the amount i need of anything that needs serious cooking and freeze half. Reheating is always done in the microwave.

You know what? I cordially invite you to the opportunity to shut your lying mouth! If one thing were to convince me that god actually does exist, it is the fact that chocolate exists. That, and coffee. :D
Tbh coffee is amazing. I'm not what u would call a conesour of coffee but I do appreciate a good cup. Chocolate with coffee is ok. I just feel chocolate on it's own doesn't do slot for me, but chocolate with something i.e. strawberries coffee helps make it taste better.

Hmmm... Yah, no. You are either lying/trolling, have lost the use of your taste buds, or lack the brain parts needed to experience chocolate in all of it's unfettered glory.

I suspect lying/trolling. :D

Chocolate is delightful and wonderful, has things in it that are good for us, and is a very delicious treat.
If it tastes just like sugar you may need better chocolate, as cheap/nasty chocolate has a strong sugar taste, as do many milk chocolates.
The only blaspheme is white "chocolate."
:( But I vastly prefer white chocolate.

The worst part is that when you get used to a superior product, going back to the bargain deal isn't always an option.
That works in so many areas. I used to have a furniture store that sold higher end merchandise. I had a "Nordstrom" return policy on the Tiffany style lamps that I sold. If someone bought a lamp of mine I would take it back at any time and give a full refund no questions asked. I even did a full Nordstrom the one time that someone tried to return a lamp. She thought that she had bought it from me, but I could tell it was not one of mine. She was a very good customer so I told her if she found the receipt for it I would take it back even though it was not mine. She was happy, and I had a competing lamp that I could use to show the difference between a lamp bought on TV and one that I sold. That lamp ended up helping me to sell my own. One of the better returns that I made.
Best spaghetti sauce ever was at Menards.
It was pretty good, but the price (free) was what made it tops.
The hardware store?

The sugar you're tasting in chocolate is actually sugar, not chocolate.

You can have chocolate entirely without sugar.

I find it quite delightful, personally, if a bit of an acquired taste.

Hmmm, on the one hand if I landed on a planet with a surface that looked like that I don't think I'd step outside.

On the other hand, . . . yeah I'll take half. :D

I once ate something that looked like that at a Grateful Dead show.

I couldn't tie my shoes for 3 weeks.
