why does the media focus on men so much?

I live in australia. I watch tv occassionally but it usually the news and stuff like that. I used to watch a lot of sitcoms and that on tv.

I watch the occassional chick flick, not a huge fan though. Not into super mushy stuff lol.
well it might be different that the u.s. with tv.

but you must get major motion films there from the states, that eventually end up on tv. maybe.

Yeah they do, not sure how hollywood films would make a difference though.

i haven't noticed it until recently when i got a tv again. so maybe you just don't own a tv. :soccer:

Have you ever noticed the people who hate TV are also the same people who are the seeking intellectual types. Maybe that's their problem. Perhaps if they watched TV all their questions would be answered.

tv can be fairly educational. but it does have a rep for being a waste of time, like for couch potatoes, that's why i think many will deny watching it.
it seems that many seeking intellectual types do so because they are not, at least not yet, but they wannabe for many reasons.

you're talking about old car ads in magazines maybe. what car commercial shows a half naked lady involved with commercial these days?

Hi ryobi: Well yes I was exaggerating a bit, but you still see them in a more subtle way, well here in Australia you do, and its a known fact the sex sells.
