Maybe we are dealing with some sort of language barrier? Maybe in your native language there is no specific word for sex or for recreative sex and instead the most usual word does in fact mean "sex for procreation"?

I can assure you that in English (and lots of other languages) sex can very much exist without the intent or potential for reproduction.
