Why is homosexuality wrong?

Well since reproduction is the most important reason could you answer the question I asked as it's still pertinent?

What are these other reasons? Could you elaborate?
Yes, sex is one of the natural needs of humans. Islam and reason acknowledge this fact. Islam also does not prohibit that for Islamic clerics, because they are also human, so that need to sex.

But, we as rational beings should reply to this need of us in any way?

I believe that there is a rational reply to this inner need, i.e., sexual intercourse between a man and a woman, and as I mentioned, if you think about the nature of the body of men and women, you can understand that men are for women and vise versa.

Even to me it's strange that people have an issue with homosexuality.
Well, perhaps you can answer this question. How many people do you believe hope that their children turn out to be gay?
To me, they would be my child and I would hope they are healthy and safe above all else. If they are gay, so what? It would not weaken or deteriorate my love for my child, and they would know that even though many in the world may give them difficulties over it, any of child of mine would know their mom would have always be available for a hug, to cry on, and emotional support.

Well, I'm nearly done removing motes from my eyes. It's time to remove your splinters.
What splinters? And, do be aware, Biblical standards do not apply to me. I am no sinner, and I refuse to let an ancient book degrade me in such a way.

There's many women who do not enjoy vaginal penetration and who cannot orgasm from it. A lot of the time, it's painful or uncomfortable, or just flat-out boring. The dynamics of vaginal/penile intercourse are very flawed, especially for the female. I, myself, could've offered suggestions to God on how to design that better (not that I believe that God directly created or designed our bodies in the first place).

Fair enough.

Gonna have to do better than that.

Especially given all the different denominations that are all based on "The Bible".
I think you will find many professed "Christian" churches do not consider the Bible to be God's inspired Word, and certainly not the authority for conduct and belief.

And it's this "repent or suffer for eternity" that I just do not believe or think is even remotely possible.
I know many would prefer that our Creator allow any conduct they choose to indulge in. I believe we are accountable to God and that he rightly deserves our obedience and worship. It would be unloving for Jehovah to permit the evil and violence that fills the earth today to continue indefinitely, IMO. God's justice, wisdom, and love will move him to end wickedness and those who cause it, according to the Bible (Psalms 37:10,11)

Let us know when you are ready to construct an actual argument.
Try reading from the start of the thread. Or the numerous other threads on the subject where I've discussed it at great length.

I've grown tired of these silly arguments against homosexuality at this point.

It's not a mental disorder. No argument is required to state such a fact. (Although I already pointed out that those qualified to make such a determination, tell us that homosexuality is not a mental disorder.)

Reason, evidence, critical thinking, rationality, cognition, empathy.
If the world we live in is the result of reason, critical thinking, rationality, and empathy, I say they have failed miserably. "wisdom is proved righteous by its works (or its results).” (Matthew 11:19)

Pardon?
That wasn't the question you asked me. What you asked was how do we figure out good/bad, right/wrong.

We live in a world where there are a great deal of people that rely on words found in ancient texts, rather than exercising their critical thinking skills and the rest I listed above. So that may have something to do with the world we find ourselves in, don'tcha think?

How about this. I had a room mate once...tried to help him out...seemed like a good guy. I had fallen asleep one night on the couch, and woke up with my little birdie in his mouth. I wasn't happy. I should have beat the crap out of the guy. Instead, I kicked him out of the house. My first encounter with a homosexual turned out to be a sick freak. So I think they are all sick freaks.
It's a shame you unreasonably and unfairly assume that one single person is representative of every gay person on the planet. Do you always generalize so broadly and irrationally?
