Why is Public Nudity Wrong or Immoral?

The clothing optional beaches I have visited have been among the cleanest and tamest beaches I know.

You hit the nail squarely on the head. There is nothing wrong with nudity when you consider everything has it's proper place.

I have no problem with nudity, so long as it is voluntary for folks to look at.

A nude beach with a sign right before you walk over a sand dune is ideal. You should have every right to get naked and I should have every right to not look at you if that is my decision.

Think about it, would you want a 450 pound woman to bend over in front of you when you are eating dinner?

Nor are many other locations or situations where nudity would be apropriate if not for our regressive taboos.

I don't think there's anything wrong or immoral with nudity. Well, unless you're operating heavy machinery or dangerous equipment. Then being nude in those circumstances isn't necessarily wrong or immoral......that's when it's just stupid.

One could argue that when Jehovah desires his people to come back to a new Paradise on Earth, we could completely be naked! After all, Adam and Eve were naked, and in Isaiah, Jehovah's mountain and the New Jerusalem will no longer need clothes either...

What matters is the context. Context matters.

it is not wrong or immoral in any sense. Its just nature. Clothing started out not as law but as a necessity.

different cultures have made it wrong or immoral to uphold there beliefs.

It's a cultural thing. Some countries have an unhealthy relationship with the human body and feel the need to always keep it covered. Maybe over time the situation will mature, but who knows.

And nowadays so many people are overweight, so people on average might not be as proud of their bodies.

I can see that. That would prevent me from being out in the buff publicly. Call it vanity or whatever, but my body shape prevents me from mingling with other like minded people.
