Why is Public Nudity Wrong or Immoral?

Yep. Relevance?

Are you going to answer my questions, or continue wasting my time?

no, I am asking you this, because people who have a faith in God do not getting nude in public?

did God order people to get nude in public?

or ordered them to be pious and cover their shame

That depends on whether one believes God orders anything, not to mention whether shame is an issue in the first place.

for one who doesn't believe that God ordered any thing, he would do what ever he wants to do.

anyway, do you ask your self sometime why some people surf pornography sites on hte internet.

I have spent many happy hours knocking on doors for political support.
It became clear to me that nudity was not uppermost in every ones mind.
On at least six occasions the door was opened by some one in the nude. i never did find out if there was a political bias to nudity.
Only once have I met someone in a hotel corridor who was in the nude. they had forgotten their key and were looking for a staff member. but why they were in that position I never found out.

Popularity doesn't mean reasonable. Why should laws conform to what is popular but makes no sense?

Different cultures have different things they consider sexual, and enforce that various things must be covered up, but most of it seems based on sexual objectification anyway. Keeping arbitrary areas covered up is what keeps that sort of sexual objectification propagating.

If you truly feel the way you feel walk out naked then. When they arrest you argue in court that such laws are arbitrary. Try to make history!

Beats getting locked out of your room in a drysuit. Try and explain that one and be believed.

Nudity is awesome. I feel free when I naked without all that constrictive clothing on.

It isn't that people don't trust themselves with the nudity of others, but that people (Christians, in main) have tried to convince them they can't. As has been amply shown by those societies where nudity is common, people can be trusted to act appropriately. IMO as Christians sought to limit the evils of lust, they inadvertently created just such opportunities for it. The more objects of censorship the more objects of lust. However, for most of us, even if lust does arise---most often though it's nothing more than a wish or desire---we're capable of dealing with it.

So Christians having moral ideas causes people to think of nudity to be taboo? I don't think so. Other people other than Christians wear clothing. They wear clothing in China, where Christianity is rare (at least until recently). But nudity really has nothing to do with sex. When I was in Naples, Italy (and in surrounding areas), women used to be sunbathe all the time with no top on and no one cared at all. Italy is filled with Catholics, so they going topless at the beach should be taboo, but is not. :angel2:

Neither do I. However, some of their specific moral notions have.

Well it helps, and sometimes quite a bit. ;);) Having sex while fully clothed has seldom been as enjoyable as when naked or even partially naked.

I don't see how nudity has nothing to do with sex? Of course you can look at a nude body and not have any sexual thoughts but in most cases most nudity is associated in one way or another sex. The following is a funny video but this goes to show that thinking "sexual" is natural when we perceive a sex organ. This guy had pants on too!

There is no nudity just a test to see whether women notice an "enlarged" male sex organ

That's not exactly what I meant. I meant that you don't have to see someone naked in order to want to have sex with them. Lust isn't limited to unclothed persons is what I meant. And you can see someone in the buff and not be attracted to the person at all.
