Go through the six days of creation and tell me where the sequence is wrong. There is one obvious case -- nor bad for a document of that period. How so?? this ought to be good
(Whether or not you find that 'good' is wholly irrelevant to me.)

The first is not germane to the topic of Biblical literature. The second is a falsehood and the third is more-or-less correct. There are three possible answers you're gonna get; one is that the ancient people who wrote it didn't have the level of scientific understanding that we have today, and second is that evolution is a lie and never happened, and the last is that genesis is allegorical and non literal.

I was clearly commenting on sequence. Your response is dishonest."POOF" instant creation of everything in a week with two contradicting story's compiled is somehow related to evolution, how??

You clearly have a reading deficiency.Im not a mind reader brotherI was clearly commenting on sequence. If there was a real hint of evolution within its pages the folks who literally interpret the pages would not be fighting science so hard to retain their religious values.
i cant be dishonest, if i couldnt read your mind.
You clearly have a reading deficiency.
Im not the one trying to play connect imaginary dots either.
im not a mind reader
One thing I notice, which I'm not sure is minor, is that there is plants before there is light on the earth. Would you mind kindly referrring to the one minor out of sequence event?Go through the six days of creation and tell me where the sequence is wrong. Light is created first. What are you talking about? One thing I notice, which I'm not sure is minor, is that there is plants before there is light on the earth. Would you mind kindly referrring to the one minor out of sequence event?
If the Bible's story Genesis was about how God created mankind, why isn't Evolution in the Bible?

The books in the Bible are not meant to be science books. They are meant for spiritual teachings. You wouldn't find any kind of religious talk in a science book, it wouldn't belong. Science and religion are two totally different subjects. The creation story is symbolic, not scientific.
On the first day, God created light. I imagine this could be a hint at the big bang, and light being among the first things to exist in the moments after the big bang happened.
On the second day, water appeared and separated into water on the ground and in the sky. As the early earth cooled, I imagine water would have pooled and evaporated into the sky, forming out of the ball of molten rock and what-have-you.
On the third day, God commands the earth to bring forth grass, plants and fruit-bearing trees. Somewhere between day 2 and 3, life happened and simple organisms evolved into the plants and trees.
On the fourth day, God makes 2 lights in the sky, (sun and moon) and the stars. I imagine this is the place where they got the sequence out of order - the sun, moon and stars would have appeared before this.
On the fifth, the sea is populated by sea creatures and birds appear.
On the sixth, land animals appeared - reptiles, livestock, humans etc.
Not bad for an estimate on the sequence in which things evolved from a bunch of nomadic tribes, no? Just imagine that a "day" wasn't really a day, but an unspecified amount of time, and that 6 days really meant "a really, really long time".
Surah and aayah please.I am not quite sure about the Bible, but evolution was said in the holy Quran, and im sure i read a verse saying that God is changing creatures (animal, plants and humans) ability, attributes etc.. during their living. Which meant evolution for me
I think there's a whole lot of truth in the bible. The problem is, I feel I need to go hunting for it, and it's rarely obvious.Perhaps 6 billion years. Makes sense to me. Actually, this first part in the Bible is about the only thing in the whole book that makes any sense to me whatsoever. Take the "God" out of it and it makes even more sense.
