Why isnt Harris president right now? Biden is completely cooked in the brain. We have no real president.

They didn't know what Obama would do, or pre 2016, what Trump would do.

Well, I was answering a post saying Harris is a mystery.

But we do have evidence & strong
inklings about how Trump will rule.
This makes her the better choice.

Well my point is why not give the American public a small taste of how she would govern as president.
It's pretty obvious now that Biden really isn't running anything.
A Harris preview would be interesting.

That is an excellent argument against voting for
Trump, who is also losing his mind. Using the vote
instead of the 25th Amendment is more efficient.
And it avoids making Vance President.

Well the point of doing such a thing would give people an idea of how Harris would really run the country , but I kind of agree it's a lengthy process and probably wouldn't be in time for the election anyways.
Still somebody behind the scenes is running the country and it certainly is not Biden.

Is that relevant to the security issues like the Ukrainian conflict of the conflict in the middle east? These issue have the potential to become an existential thread for the U.S. unlike the optics of immigration policy, which is only a threat to liberal democracy.

Replacing Biden can only hurt her chances of winning election. She won't govern differently than Biden and she would have less time to campaign. On top of that, Biden still has strong supporters that she will alienate. It's a lose lose lose for her. I understand that not replacing Biden makes her look weak as a leader, but is this as bad as the problems she gets from replacing Biden?
