Why religious forums ?

Who said you that one is NOT welcomed in DIRS to ask questions, or clear doubts ?

I'd have to review the rules again. I think it became stricter. Only people who come in DIRs are those of that religion (Hindu=Hindu DIR-so, I'm not invited) or those who want to ask specific questions (no conversation) to Hindus to get straight forward answers.

Also, now you have to be approved to go into DIRs so I'm not sure the criteria they base it on but no, not everyone can go in. Religious Q & A and interfaith covered that.

Than what refers to believe in God ? do you care to shed some light please :)

Religions that don't believe in the christian theist abrahamic god: Eastern, Pagan, New Age, etc etc.

You don't know religion in itself has nothing to do with one type of god and god in general??

That is correct. But what is your point? I mean, is it a criticism, or an observation, or is there some sort of question in it?

Well it might explain your rather erroneous beliefs - as to what atheism is and what all atheists do apparently. Closed mind in effect.

The truthful answer is that atheism is inherently "aggressive", so atheists look for a battle field where they may attack believers.
How is not believing in gods inherently aggressive?
Atheists cannot live without believers....
I think we'd manage. We're in all useful professions, eg,
farming, engineering, medicine, science, bacon processing.
....for the attack on belief and believers is the assertive act that gives them their sense of existence.
I was an atheist with a sense of existence even before
anyone told me about religions & their strange beliefs.
It is unavoidable therefore, that they come to places where believers congregate, such as a religious forum.
If you look at all the forums here on RF, you'll see
many subjects not about religion. Don't read too
much meaning or any restriction in the name.
Of course atheists will not (and cannot) recognize their own aggressiveness.
The pot calling the kettle black?
I recommend conversing with fewer presumptions.
Some of us believers & heathens get along just fine together.

Ever notice that the prefix, "self-proclaimed" is so often
affixed to "atheist". I wonder why that is. Do we need
some kind of certification to be just plain "atheist"?
Is there a national board of atheism offering this service?

Edit....
Lo! The internet delivers!

If there is, it is down in some dark basement - just like in HHGTTG.

They do because they need NOT any evidence-of-existence to take interest in them.

NO evidence of God's existence has ever been provided to any atheist. But, still they enjoy taking interest in religious talks.

I find your line of reasoning more accusatory singling out atheists, and not productive of a dialogue.

Religion simply believe in God. It has nothing to do with christian, abrahamic etc.

No. Here they are:

(1): the service and worship of God or the supernatural
(2): commitment or devotion to religious faith or observance

It just means people who come together following traditions, services, and acts of worship. While most people think of god (and the dictionary and so forth) since we're in a god-dominate world, there are thousands of religions and not all believe in god. It's a generalization. Can you imagine the dictionary make exceptions to all religions that don't believe in god?

The key factor of religion is worship, tradition, and practice. Who, what, and why people worship is besides the point.

Anyway.

Since this is a religious forum and religion has to do with modes of worship, practice, and tradition it makes sense RF would invite ALL religions to participate in their forums. I mean, just using the word "I believe in god" doesnt mean the person believes in the god you and most people may be familiar with.
