Why should I let you in?

So, if you have done anything good, it is because of nature?
Yep.
In that case, maybe God lets nature in and you can stay out? :D
Humans are a part of nature in my view, and an All-knowing God should know that.

If an All-knowing God can change the nature of the lion or the wolf such that it can lay with the lamb in heaven then it would be unjust to deny the same bounty to any other part of nature as I see it.

Hey everyone!

I just found this forum and found it very interesting, and figure I should throw in my first post. My question is the following: When you die, and you go to heaven, and God says, “why should I let you in?” What will you say? It may seem like a general question, but I am curious what the different responses will be.

"Because I got a full-blooded Italian grandmother in there who will never let you live it down if you don't."

I don't work with that hypothesis. Not worth the trouble.

I know but entertaining.

Indeed, although I miss the time when people had to put in a bit more effort in the actual story because they weren't able to cover up their shortcomings and plotholes with impressive special effects! :)

But I always enjoy a well produced "gods" movie one way or the other though.
Like Stargate. Many of my friends back in the day were star wars or start trek nerds. I was a Stargate SG1 nerd, lol
When I saw that original movie, it blew my mind. I thought the series, big picture story wise, was also quite cool.

Jack O'Neil even managed to make me forget all about McGuyver! :D

Everyone should have a Mjölnir.
Most wouldn't be able to wield it though!

I present a possibly important opinion here. I should say, I am just beginning to figure it out but, here's what I got

I would like to give a case of why Monotheism is a lie, and why Panentheistic Polytheism is correct.

Akhenaten invented monotheism in a practical way because the people, and history, had not known monotheism.

He had killed his siblings who had been up for the throne. Then when he eventually got it he used monotheism to gain power over the priesthood.

The monotheism had gained him power by his saying he was above Egypt and the Priesthood who before then held a good, integral sway as he was the highest priest of the Aten(his coincidentally timed inspiration from the otherwise new to humanity and only god) who heard Aten directly. He changed everything, but after his death everything changed back.

He lied and killed his competitor for the thrones, his brothers and sister. It was just a power grab, which was kept up by lies and threats of violence like we see in today's monotheism.

God is based on a lie. Are The Gods?

You are saying: When you die and GO TO HEAVEN.
It means you are already IN Heaven.

If you are talking about standing out of heaven's gate.
Then, you are already standing out of heaven's gate because this whole universe is heaven's gate. :)

Well, we can start with body count: I'm willing to bet that @F1fan has condoned, commanded, and committed far fewer murders than the God of Abraham.
And he has also not given any life, which is why he would not have the right to decide how long someone is allowed to live.

Eh, I don't agree with that one. I don't think you giving life is a right to how long you think. Think about it, say it slowly, people give life.
