In a democracy folks demonstrate their wishes with their votes.
And where any disgruntled other folks might not like democratic outcomes they really shouldn't throw their toys out of their prams and wet their beds.
To incite armed conflict within a country is usually a very very serious criminal offence.It ain't smart to even suggest it. (See thread title).
Oh, and I don't believe that you have ever succeeded in gaining a 6" group at 500 yards, even on a calm day. How big is the bull on your target at that range?

Do you, or did you ever shoot fullbore?
I'm trying to remember what my best score ever was. I shot with a Lee Enfield Mk3 with Parker Hale sights and with a lens fitted in the sight to correct astigmatism. I'm darned if I can remember now, but to pop 10 rounds into a 12" diameter group would have been an astonishing achievement 50 years ago.
I know that they can do shocking things today with modern gear.

What, in your mind, are socialist policies?
In my mind they are democratically elected government, sound legislation, as much freedom of action and speech as possible, sound equality legislation for all and a caring community.
A good police force, well trained, directed, supervised and inspected. Police forces can become very corrupted, you know, as happened in sections of the Metropolitan police force back in the sixties.
The guards do need guarding.
I don't belittle folks who will obey the laws of their lands and keep the peace.
Any kinds of murderers are open season for belittlement.
And I don't belittle any folks for their academic results.

That sounds better than anything I ever shot with.
Trouble was, my rifle shooting messed up my shotgun performance, and vice versa.
My performance suffered due to lack of practice & decaying eyes.
If the zombie apocalypse strikes, I'll be using a scope for distance.
No more iron sights for me.
Too bad it never ends up anything like that. Which is why so many socialist states fail as history has shown.

Nonsensical ramblings, the government does not rule by gun fear, gun control, and gun killing. That is how socialist governments tend to do business when all the starving people start complaining though.

Air rifles (BB guns?) have to be licensed in Scotland already, and after recent accidental airgun deaths in England I reckon that controuls (
) will be enforced in England Wales within a few years if not sooner.There are drawbacks and benefits, one benefit being that in the event of any folks becoming too mad at political movements here, all we'll have to worry about is idiots running around with water pistols and paint-ball........................ Wow! Paint ball guns operate at well over 1ft lb, so they would almost certainly need a licence as well. I need to check the new Scots legislation about that.
