Regarding the topic at hand, I understand the hate. I really do. And to be honest, there are many things with the US I do not like myself. But when someone let innocent people get caught in the cross fire, or when innocent people becomes the targets of the fire, then it has gone over the line. And that applies to everyone.

I think you are quite incorrect with your scapegoat Satan theory. Satan has nothing to do with Hate, most of all the hate that the Muslim/Arab world has for the United States and Jews.

Arabs who hate us don't want a free and open society; they want an Islamic totalitarian one. American influence in the Arab world prevents our haters there from imposing their vicious expression of Islam.

Our support for Israel's security further inflames the hatred of those Arabs (and Muslims elsewhere) who hate us. But why do they hate Israel? Why are they so obsessed with a tiny state in a part of the Arab and Islamic world that they utterly ignored until Jews made a civilization there?

Because America's and Israel's haters are ethnic and religious haters on a magnitude not seen since the Nazis. They loathe everything Israel (and its American supporter) represents -- freedom, democracy, openness, individual autonomy, freedom of religion, pluralism, women's equality and sexual freedom.

They want Israel dead. Gone. Exterminated. They say so publicly, and they say so in polls. Yet, the educated fools and the Israel- and America-haters of the West ignore all this and blame Israel for trying to exist and America for enabling it to do so.

Arab and other Muslims who hate America do so:

• Because America alone (and the little America in the Middle East, Israel) prevents the expansion of Islamic rule.
• Because expansionist totalitarian movements, whether Soviet communism or radical Islam, always hate free societies, and America is the strongest free society.
• Because America is not only strong, it is religious (as opposed to Europe, which is weak and irreligious).
• Because America is not only Christian; it is Judeo-Christian, the two religions the Islamists need to overcome to expand globally.

So, in some ways you ARE correct in that Satan (which means Adversary) is at the heart of Hatred, the only difference here is that Satan / Adversary lives within the soul of Islam not in the US.

Peace is when the mind is at peace.
Mind is at peace when it is free of *thoughts*.

I think people are entitled to their opinions and for me I guess it wouldn't be so much hate but certain aspects I don't like about our U.S. government.

It would almost be a double standard if I were to say I hate Egypt or Saudi Arabia, I'm sure people would probably think I was being an Islamophobe or even worse.....racist if I didn't carefully word myself. There are likes and dislikes just as any country but I tend to agree that it is a bit ridiculous how much we're spending on these nonesense wars and Israel. It'd be nice if our country would stay out of everyone's business unless of course there's a good reason which so far there hasn't been. And you know, I use to think the U.S. was under the people's best interests, now I know better....

1- The unlimited support of US to Israel ( which was illegaly born in the arabian land by the jewish groups against palestine)

2- The American war in Islamic countries ( Iraq,Afghanistan, may be Iran..)

3- US owns nuclear weapons and at the same time want to prevent it from any other side.. US should start by itself towards peacful world!

I think all those "reasons" are used by some people to justify the incitement of murder. I also think its time Arabs got their on house in order and stop blaming the US for everything that is wrong in the Arab world.

IMO, most of people who stand against USA government (not just Arabs or Muslims) are seeing double standards of their policies. today for USA government any kind of decision is acceptable if it is going to serve interest of USA and by USA i do not mean American public. i wish USA government cared for American people.

yet on the other hand some Eastern governments that run by Muslim are not better than USA government. because they sacrifice their own people to cooperate with USA govern. IMO publics, ordinary people who does not have firms are pretty much left alone, abused and told lie.
