Why the Bible is not the word of God

That is why Christ is the Word of God -- he is a living master, and it is he whom we serve. God reveals God's self to us through God's incarnation (Christ). Christ reveals himself to us in the living gospel, as it is preached in terms of our identity, behavior, actions, speech and written word. Therefore, the Bible isn't a book of the dead, but a book of the living, since it is part of the living God's revelation to us.

Is there any substansive proof besides the bible that the Jesus Christ even existed?

If you think the Bible is not truth, why do you use its words in support of your thesis? One cannot support truth with untruth. that would constitute a paradox of logic.

The reason why I somethimesuse the Bible to prove that the Bible is false because of the fact that it is harder to use the "God made these contradictions to test our faith" argument when it's the bible ITSELF that's contradictory. After you read Gilgamesh (If you have read it), what did you use to prove that the Epic of Gilgamesh was untrue?

Acually, Jesus is well documented. There is a letter written by a Roman soldier to his commander which gives a physical description of Jesus.

As Jesus was considered a criminal by many, its logical to assume that Rome would want to know how to identify him, just as we do criminals today.

The Bible is a patchwork quilt of facts, half truths, and hearsay, written years after Jesus left. It needs to be questioned, as all "authority" does.

I am adverse to all religion. All religions are of the earth, and to the earth they will bind you. The moment you write down words spoken by a living master, you have killed them and removed any ability to correct the path you travel. The bible is an outdated handbook. A book of the dead. So why do you seek the living among the dead? The word of God only has life when living people speak it. Not from memorization or religious training, but from their own heart. The wisdom of this book has been written upon their hearts, not their minds. Such people need no books. They give sight to the spiritually blind. They raise the spiritually dead. They have met and conquered Satan (the mind) in the spiritual desert. (The mind again) Only these kinds of people can speak the living word of God. Books can only tell of such people. They cannot replace them. Nor can they speak for them. And if you follow such books, there is nobody who can correct your course. A book can't. A living master can. x

There is but one true master...that is the master within...

Jesus doesn't want you to worship him. He never did. He only wants you to follow the path that he so simply laid out. Jesus doesn't want to to become a Christian either. Its a dead end road. Jesus want you to become a Christ. Just like him. x

I don't know what your path is, but your words do speak universal truths that many will not understand.

Who knows. I get the distinct feeling that he's blowing smoke. He produced the information and it's up to him to defend himself, which he is utterly failing to do.
