clear difference between mocking and persecution. Everyone has the right to speak.

We are talking about children not adults. Are you telling me that its ok to mock children who are Atheists in public school. How about sexual harassment is that ok, my child has the right to tell all the other kids that your child has a small penis.He has the right to speak what ever he wants. How about passing out Nazi literature to Jews in High School.Its just mocking. I say zero tolerence. Every child in public school needs to be treated with respect. Male or Female,rich or poor, atheist or religious. If you sat with a family of a child who killed them self over being mocked at school you would be able to see what I am talking about.

They do in my sons school. I heard a kid call his classmate "gay" as a pejorative. With a teacher standing right there. Noting happened no comment from the teacher. I asked her about it she just gave me a blank look. Very common place.

The differance is that kids in high school, middle school, etc use 'gay' to mean 'annoying, stupid, pointless, and anything other than homosexual. If he had called him a homosexual I think the teacher would have responded differantly

No... it has surpassed Catholicism.

But Christianity in general is still the majority.

Last numbers I've seen, Roman Catholics were 1.1 billion and Protestants were another billion. Islam was just ahead of Catholicism.

although, remember that most of islam is not true 'islam' it is by terrorists forcing ppl into belief. I am sure that true islam is dwarfed by that kind of violent islam.
