Why there will NEVER be world peace...

None of what you have said is inconsistent with a non-violent world Vi.

Men will still rape women. No one suggests we accept rape as the norm. Why should war be different?

Then perhaps you should search a bit harder!

A good place to start might be The Promise of World Peace, which the Baha'i UN delegation presented there a few years ago. You can find it at this site:

http://www.bahai-library.org

under the heading "Documents of the Universal House of Justice."

Peace, :)

I shouldn't have to search for it. It should be prominent like some of the nutbags out there that try to promote it. That's how you hear about it.
While I think the Bahai faith is one of the better religions of the world, it's influence isn't high in countries of power.

There wont be world peace because wars will become sophisticated, we fight with weapons bombs etc, in the future these weapons will completely different, in fact people wont even know there's a war going on until it's over. E.g cyber warfare mass destruction of data etc. Peace needs an equal and opposite force to exist (like everthing else in life), it will just be in a different form

Not sure if you heard about it, but scientists just created the capabilities of the human mind in a computer. Check out IBMs "Watson". In two years the data storage for it will be able to be held in a hand. If they put that in a robot - cyber warfare is on.

And there will always be robberies, thefts, and embezzling going on. You can't have peace when one takes from another, especially when rich take from the poor.

Not if you reduce crimes rates, war and terrorism all with the exact same method.

The answer to world peace is right here.
How transcendental meditation can prevent war and terrorism

All governments would have to do is pay people to do this like they do the police or the army etc. and world peace will be possible.

We can even do this ourselves to contribute to world peace.

Having the answer and implementing them are 2 different things. We know what we have to do to reduce national debt in the US, but unless the plan is put into action it's worthless. Most people know what to do to lose weight, but again knowing and doing are 2 different things.

And IMO people who kill without remorse are mental. Meditation won't help those crazy *****.

It does take applying it you are correct. I am not aware of any studies done which show meditations effect on crazy people but i ll do some research and see what i can find.

Although i couldnt find any studies of effects of meditation on sociopaths. There is plenty of studies which show evidence where meditation reduces murder rates. Maybe the sociopaths will still commit murder but it would help alot to eliminate all other murders not caused by sociopaths so we can just focus on catching the sociopaths.

Why there will never be world peace? Because it will be too boring, for one. Then, diseases of some sort would take their toll to keep the world pupulation in check. The choice of wars is preferable to diseases because of the technical knowledge that results from them.

A world devoted to the physical reality, the flesh, and if we've the healthy intelligence to the study of the physical laws. will be a functioning world, with a reasonable and more healthy society, and social organization.

A world when men will be wise enough to examine the physical and the material before they are tempted to project any mental images on it. or worse treat par spiritual indoctrination. without a shred of historicity and the effort to study the history and historical implications of their religion or society.

Not a problem.

How much influence did Christianity have after 167 years?

We're growing--significantly!--all the time. And in the fullness of time, we expect to have made a significant difference.

Peace, :)
