Same artist who has done the artwork for three of Dark Funeral's albums - "Diabolus Interium", "Attera Totus Sanctus", and "Angelus Exuro pro Eternus".

It's hard to say who is the author, but two persons could be the authors in some way - Daniel Valeriani and Lord Ahriman.
BTW, Gustave Doré is really great choice.
My personal choice could be William Blake.

Gustave Dore is one of my favorite classical artists, as is Dark Funeral one of my favorite black metal bands. :smilecat:

I really love art and Gustave D. is really fantastic. He adored Dante and Byron and produced a great number of religious paintings not intended for a church. I don't know much about Dark Funeral, but it is very interesting that the best black metal band comes from Nordic counties. I am also very much into the movies, so I really can recommend to watch "Borgman", Dutch film. For the sensitive and intelligent people that film could be real pleasure :) I have it in my collection and watch it from time to time, it always affects me in the same way.

Hi Covellite, good to hear from you. I am a classically trained pianist and I am self-taught on the guitar. I love classical music and black metal and many other forms of music. You need only visit the "Satanic Music" threads in the LHP DIR to see this. :smilecat:

Hi Adramelek to you, too. I am an architect with great interest in art, philosophy, literature, films. I would certainly visit the Satanic Music threads with pleasure. I am new one here. I was looking for if anyone unintentionally was privileged to meet with Death face to face, during the day time in a reality, as myself. Few years later I was on the street and I saw LCF riding his black horse. I feel familiar with them, like they are my "tribe". Death has made really strong connection with me, but LCF had no special interest in me ( that's how I feel, maybe I am wrong).

I wouldn't say its necessarily the face of Death, but rather the Face of the Lord of Darkness. Who is beyond natural life and death.

I am quite certain that was Death. It's a long story and I don't feel comfortable to take someones time to go deeper.
The Second time, it was definitely the Lord of Darkness. Very powerful Majesty. After that experience I started to practice many, many rituals, and my favourite was Liber Samekh.
What really bothers me is that when I have certain intention, nothing is going on. On the other side, some spectacular things happen when I least expect with no effort at all.

Haha, that is a common occurrence in Magickal Initiation I have noticed and so have many others.

Luciferi Baphomet

Lucifer, is my Liberator
I worship him because I chose to follow him not because I am afraid of him. Why would Lucifer want to hurt other people? He is not the bad guy many jesus followers claim he is. He was actually created by god so people can use him as a scapegoat while god hides who he really is.
Lucifer wants us to live a happy lives without that sin crap. He wants us to live life to the fullest while we are still alive.

Because Satan is right. Satan breaks all of the judeo-christian morals. He isn't confined by a certain set of morals. Satan empowers people who hold themselves highly enough to seek empowerment to break these morals that do nothing but restrain. Also, Satan is the force of both life and death. Satan is the way things are supposed to work in our world. The term "worship" is one I am not particularly attached to.

I am not too fond of the word "worship" either. I am a disciple of the Lord of Darkness (Set), but I don't worship him in the traditional sense of the word. I honor and revere him/It, but I do not nor will I surrender or submit my mind or will to him/It. That would be absolutely antithetical to the very purpose of the Gift of the Black Flame. Surrender or submission of the soul/self to someone/something else basically is an abomination in my religion.

To me, "submission to the will" of Satan is one of the things Satanism is against. My believe is similar to yours, but I don't identify as a Setian for a few reasons. I do believe in the concept of The Gift of the Black Flame, though.
