Why would God create Evolution?

McBell

Why not just plant everything immediately? Why take 13 .82 billion years before putting Humans on Earth?

You either accept Evolution or not. And If you do, saying stuff like God's the force behind Evolution, or God has created evolution is meaningless because when you can create stuff from scratch, why create Evolution? Why not just make the products? To mess with smart people who study science?

Um...
Because god does not have to do things the way you think they should be done?

God is not the author of evolution. Evolution is the work of human soul that is born of the union of the divine spark and the primordial matter that also comes from God. The purpose of evolution is to create a body, mind and self consciousness that can become the vehicles of the divine spark.

That is a lovely idea.

Do spirits have eyes, if not, how can they see? Do they have ears, if not, how can they hear? What is there for the spirit to do if it cannot experience any of the 5 senses? Better yet, would it even actually exist at that point?

Wanna see him really squirm?

Ask him to define "spirit"...

History is a tool created by us human beings and does not cover all the phases of human existence. There are pre-historic periods in history for your information please.

Word Revealed in Religions and science helps in such matters; my friend.

How is this anything other than a god of the gaps?

And I might go even further....

If I could spend the effort it takes to relate my life in a condensed form....
(like 60yrs experience shared in one year)....
THAT would be fast and the sharing would be mind boggling.

Do that again....times the 7billion other souls (if they all survive the last breath)...

And now we are discussing billions of years of sharing.

Granted not all will survive the last breath.
Not all have interesting tales to tell.

But it will take a long time to share what we gather.

Isn't it funny that stuff like soul or self consciousness are as unproved as God itself.

If I remove as much as a spoon of your brain from your skull, you will turn into a vegtable. My question is where does the soul go?

Isn't that the perfect defense for god theory.
How did I apply it to god differently than it applies to every mortal human person alive, will ever live, or ever lived?

There's a god, and no you can't talk about him because he is totally different.

No idea where you pulled this from, but it in no way addresses the point of mine you have completely ignored.

It's not mine way of doing things, no logical being can explain why would it take 13 billion years for God to put humans on earth, and the only defense, which is the perfect defnse, is that god works in mysterious ways.

There are specific parts of which they are removed you'll turn into a vegetable.

If you go at the brain with a weed eater I predict poor results. A neurosurgeon has to do very careful precision cutting and a decent map of the brain. They can literally take half your brain and we can still get good grades and function normal.

I'm not talking about its practicality. It is possible to remove specific parts of brain so a human would become a vegetable. That alone means there's no reason to think about souls.

So you mean someoen can logically explain why a perfect omnipotent god would take 13 billion years before putting humans on earth?

I'll be happy to hear it.
Are you using this as an argument against evolution, or against the existence of a god, or that such a god is not perfect, or what?
