it will never be a major religion again. it's seen its glory day and as god always does,

matthew 21:43

its been weighed in the balance and found wanting.

its become to traditional and not practical and of service to all.
OK :) I don't agree but that is the reality of two people that have individual wills

Out of curiosity, what is "our position", especially since there are different takes on it?
LOL... You mean you don't know our position?

Well! UMPH ! :D (Somebody has to help you)

Jesus is walking through the Eastern gate. Can we agree there?

If not... how about this? :)
  • the early return of Christ in all His power and glory,
  • the establishment of an earthly kingdom with the just,
  • the resuscitation of the deceased saints and their participation in the glorious reign,
  • the destruction of the powers hostile to God, and,
  • at the end of the kingdom, the universal resurrection with the final judgment, after which the just will enter heaven, while the wicked will be consigned to the eternal fire of hell.

My sister is attending church in a Jewish Christian Messianic group that has a bible study group at home instead of going to a regular church.

They believe churches and denominations go by man-made up rules and beliefs. I wonder how many Christians will turn to this type of situation now that so many are not happy with the church?

The action of being godly, didn't come into being because of a religion. The action has always existed even if the religion pointing it out didnt.

Ah, but here's the rub. When the early Church fathers discussed this, they had problems with taking this at the literalistic level because of two reasons:
1.no other scriptures have any reference to a literalistic millennial reign on Earth.
2.no early tradition supports such a view.

Thus, they concluded that the "millennial reign" was probably saying the Jesus' reign was created with his presence on Earth that applied to both heaven and on Earth. Indeed, Jesus even makes a reference to having established his Kingdom on Earth with his presence.

Consider yourself informed. :D

Muffled

Jesus in me
I don't think it will entirely die out

I believe its cycle of decline will eventually level off

And it will just shrink to a much smaller size rather than die out

Unless of course some kind of revival happens

I believe Christianity only has a temporal use. Long term, I believe we have to return to Islam, the actual meaning of the term not the religion.

IMV, that is what Christianity is (not the religion)

Imagine if it were legal to "relive the burden of supporting older people because it is a financial burden on me" - were the next step using the same analogy that people use for abortion.
The person is already a person whereas the zygote/embryo/fetus lacks the physiology necessary to be sentient.

It depends where. Here (Sweden) is dead, already. No more than 20% believe in a personal God, and that includes Muslims and such.
Soon, it will be dead in all Western Europe. Just a few generations away from it.

But I have to ask: why is it important to a Christian? If it is, of course.

Not so much as important, rather, just simply making a statement as many people think that Christianity will fall away
