Will there ever be a 'Reformation' in Islam?

So, there is no Jizya imposed, in any country of the world, these days. In other words in a sense, I believe, it confirms the truthful prophecy of Muhammad.

Narrated Abu Huraira(RA) that the Prophet of Allah(SAW) said:
By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, Son of Mary (Jesus) will shortly descend amongst you people (Muslims) as a just ruler and will break the Cross and kill the pig and abolish the Jizyah . Then there will be abundance of money and no one will accept charitable gifts.(Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 34, No. 425)

This also in a sense confirms, I believe, the claim of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad to be Messiah or Jesus son of Mary. Right?
Regards

Oh right, tell me about that. Since you brought this up, please elaborate how did Mirza ...

- rule the Muslims world?
- made the entire world Muslims?
- and made money spill all over earth that none would accept taking it anymore?
- been acknowledged as Isa by Muslims and people of the book alike as Quran states in Surah "Chapter" 4?

(157) And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.
(158) Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.
(159) And there is none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in Jesus before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness.

Oh wait! don't tell me Mirza Ghulam will come again from the dead in spirit through a new so called prophet to fulfill the above?

Please think before you answer, for your own good, so you wouldn't say in the day of judgement no one explained the truth to me. You are refusing to listen to the voice of reason and already made up your mind. Think for yourself and read the Quran properly. May Allah guide you to the truth.

Salaam,
If I say 'I'm Abraham Lincoln', it's also possible that I am, and indeed that people might think that I am. Similarly, there's a fourth possibility in Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's case, that he was indeed 'Iesa/the Mahdi, or that he fulfilled the prophecies regarding the coming of 'Iesa and the Mahdi without actually being 'Iesa/the Mahdi (i.e. fulfilled them in a metaphorical sense, performed a similar role). There are parallels here with how Yahya (John the Baptist) is considered to have fulfilled the prophecies regarding the coming of Iliyaas (Elijah) in the biblical Book of Malachi. (I should say that I don't personally think that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad fulfilled the prophecies, but in principle he could have fulfilled them in this way)
Wassalaam

Please read the above post.

lol, so this is your ultimate proof? successors? i think you can do much better than that. I thought you were going to bring a verse in the Quran which says and a Prophet after me whom his name would be Mirza Ghulam!!! or and we shall send them another prophet after you and his name is Mirza Ghulam who is going to be Jesus+mahdi miraculously.
Don't be upset, on the bright side, Mirza is not the only one who claimed to be a prophet nor the only one who claimed to be the mahdi.
Why should I get upset? The prophecy was made by Muhammad and is fulfilled in (Mirza Ghulam) Ahmad. I believe in both Muhammad and Ahmad, the former the master and the later his servant.
