Who said KSA was moderate? It seems like a strawman only put forward to be knocked down. Also the OP is confusing being a moderate nation with having humane punishment. It is a horrible single criteria to claim if a nation is moderate or not.

1. The Saudis continue doing things that we condemn recognised terrorist groups like Islamic State for such as execution of minorities, violent repression of civilians, intolerance of other religions etc;
2. The Saudis continue to export their own toxic, intolerant & heavily anti-intellectual strain of Islam into the Western world - presumably in return for oil & the fact they buy weapons off us.
3. They supply arms to Islamic State and other Islamists in Syria.
