I said what she did was appropriate in my very first post if you bothered to read it before deciding I was siding with the sleaze. All I stated with a damn caveat that everyone decided to ignore (because it makes them feel the right to ignore what could under the circumstances I identified have been a very serious problem) was that it could have been done in a better way; and that those people suggesting killing the guy were over reacting.

I never once said the force she used was excessive (I would have suggested using a hell of a lot more force), break his fingers, thump him in the junk as hard as you can, call attention to the situation, none of that requires killing someone (even if he is a POS), none of that requires endangering other people on the road (which as I damn well mentioned in my original post was a caveat contingent on the expected noise levels in public transport / road conditions over there).

Just because I am cognizant that there is the potential that this situation could have had more than one victim does not mean I am less concerned with her safety or think him any less of a jerk. And I would appreciate it if you did not misrepresent it in that fashion.

Puncture wounds are over-rated. A couple of slices on 2-3 major arteries and they're dead in a matter of minutes from blood loss. I prefer short blades, myself.

You can easily incapacitate somebody through slicing tendons in the forearm, or in the Achilles' tendon, if you want them to drop a weapon or be unable to walk, though. That's preferable in non-guerilla warfare situations when you are only in a small one-on-one scenario. But if your attacker(s) are part of a much larger army or organized syndicate, it's preferable to go for the kill so they are unable to offer information of your or your comrades whereabouts.

At least that's how I've been trained so far. Other strategies are available, and I'm non-military. Just have had martial arts, hand-to-hand combat, "street"-level self-defense, and weapons-training. So, take my thoughts with a grain of salt, if you wish.

I know..All these people out for "revenge".What is the world coming to when a woman doesn't just nicely and politely say "excuse me sir..would you please mind not masturbating on my shoulder"?Why did she have to yell and risk the bus driver might crash and hurt innocent PEOPLE!
