Woman urges Scott Pruitt to resign, and he does!

Are you good with this kind of behavior becoming the norm then? People feeling entitled to go up to whoever and tell them what they think? Really? (That was what I was intending with the idea of you being accosted by someone from the past that wasn't happy with your performance, by way of comparison.)

In all seriousness, it's not like he wasn't perfectly aware of how many people feel about the environment. He simply doesn't share the same attitudes. Plus, it's not like Trump will likely put in a successor that the good teacher will be happy with. Update: Andrew Wheeler was a lobbyist for coal industry and is also a climate skeptic. Nope... don't think she will be too thrilled at that.
Yeah, I'm good with people calmly expressing their feelings and points of view about various issues to the government officials who are supposed to be representing them. Yes. Of course.

I not sure how brave it was. Confronting a politician in public with a child in your arms while he's at a restaurant eating. Few politicians would be willing to create a scene in that scenario. Then again, maybe she was willing to sacrifice the well being of the child.
How was the child's well-being being sacrificed??

Having someone full of outrage confronting you while you are trying to having a quiet dinner with friends is hardly civil discourse in my books. So, we should could be good with people behaving like baboons? As stated, one day the tables will be turned. Are you good with that too?
They'll just do as Bill Clinton's staff did to the Mendozas.....
Have them arrested for insulting him in public.

For talking to a person?

She could have been asked to leave. There was a security detail there, she could have been escorted out and resisted. People have been arrested for less on airlines. That's just the possible scenario I had in my head. Again, I've no idea what went on in her head. However in my place, I'd think approaching a politician with a child in my arms with a video camera running, I'd be pretty safe in today's climate.

Did you watch the same video I did?

This is about ethics, not partisanship. When a government official isn't doing their job properly - be it corruption and/or incompetence - they need to be "accosted" and held accountable, regardless of their party affiliation.
Sarah Sanders unethical? I don't need to mention the others.

What did this woman do that was so terrible? She calmly approached Pruitt, who is a public official who should be accountable to the American people, and calmly and rationally explained why she thought he should resign. She didn't yell. She didn't beat him up. What's the problem?
I didn't say it was wrong. She is a Global Warming enthusiast talking to an EPA secretary. Not everyone subscribes to the Global Warming myth. It seems like a set up as it was recorded for a youtube spot. She got her message out. He quit.

Frank Sinatra used to have people bothering him in a restaurant removed by body guards.

And not everyone subscribes to the spherical earth "myth" either, but flat-earthers, climate change deniers, creationists, moon hoaxers, and anti-vaxxers are all cut from the same cloth of willful ignorance and intellectual dishonesty. Their positions are unworthy of respect or consideration.
And don't forget the military industrial complex conspiracy, the vast right
wing conspiracy, the capitalist oligarch conspiracy, the Big Oil conspiracy
to keep the water burning engine secret, the evolution conspiracy, the
conspiracy to keep the electric car off the roads, the Planned Parenthood
conspiracy pogrom against black folk, the interferon conspiracy, etc, etc.

Haven't even heard of most of those, but if they're also irrational and unsubstantiated rubbish, then toss them in too.

She's talking about the environment to a guy runs the agency that is supposed to protect the environment.
Hey, maybe he thought about it, and her arguments were persuasive enough for him to realize he should resign. Probably not, but who knows. No harm comes from discussion and rational thought.

Global warming is not a myth. What a silly thing to say. Not that one has to be concerned specifically about global warming to care about clean air, drinking water and pollution and the future of the planet for their children.
