The question that arises for me now is, how far i should take my explanation?
While my words may be ambiguous to you, they make perfect sense to me.
So while i would be happy to explain myself to you so that you can understand, i think i need a better perspective to start from than the one i have been using.
First of all i would like to make a couple of observations with a little intuitive inspiration.
I noticed that you use an avatar that represents logic and then call yourself a Christian; that is willing to consider making a change.
I would interpret this as you seeing the irrationality (blind belief) within Christendom and it not sitting to well for you but, having a lot invested into Christianity your reluctant to let it go.
Your Socrates quote was very incisive, not something i would expect from the average Christian.
I understand that there are many very smart Christians but i doubt that they have ever really questioned what they believe, either that or it doesn't matter to them and their religious activity serves some other purpose in their life.
Nevertheless, i am sure i just offended someone, so i shall move on.
