I got a mate who is dutch, hopefully the Dutch will win. that's about the only reason I can now come up with for caring about this world cup.
For me this world cup will be remembered for ref decisions that screwed the aussies, and a ridiculous droning noise that destroyed any desire I had to watch the matches on tv.

I think that's a little harsh. The guy was on the goalline and made a frantic, split-second decision that was probably more instinct than anything. Was it wrong? Sure. Was it that horrible of an offense? Not really. Plus, Ghana still had the chance to make it right. All they had to do was make one penalty kick, and they win.

Anyway, I'm glad Holland made it through. I hope Spain wins today, so that whichever team wins will be a first-timer.
