I think many would agree that this was the biggest upset in soccer history.

not sure about that as many people thought Germany would win. The scoreline is certainly eye catching though. I thought Brazil would miss Thiago Silva but I'm still shocked that they conceded as many as they did.

Germany had a good chance of winning the game, but I think the fact that this was a semi-final game and in Brazil to boot makes it a historic upset. I wouldn't have expected any team in the knockout stage to lose by a six-goal margin, let alone the host country in the semi-finals.

Brazil has depended on individual talent to win matches for too much time.

On re-thinking, I take back the word 'humiliation'. Its sport after all. Emotional people learn this way, and clinically precise people never really win hearts. This is view of an emotionally inclined person.
