In soccer, or fußball, why root for the teams when there are so many enthusiastic fans to root for as they tear each other apart limb-by-limb?

I also hope similar. Because I root for the underdog, under all situations, teams supported by me rarely win.
Ha ha. But that is football. Apart from fan frenzy, which can be seen almost everywhere (including religions), I just wished to highlight the wizardry of some of the players. They are basically artists.
It seems that there is some protest in Brazil against FIFA 2014, and football in general.

I'm not a football fan either, and know very little about it (as my question below should indicate)
usually ( I think) one team passes the ball back and forth waiting for an opportunity to penetrate the defense, it can get a little slow maybe even a little tedious
so are there any teams which focus less on defense and more on attacking, matches between such teams could be fast-paced, running from one goal post to another; making the game more exciting
so, which are some of the more attacking teams, maybe I could watch their games...

Actually, I want Saudi Arabia to be the first of the losers. Maybe then they will turn to what really matters in the country instead!
