World Cup 2014

It seems that with Neymar's injury, Brazil's back has been broken.

This last match had the worst referee I have seen in a long while.
The first penalty scored by Netherlands was a foul done outside the penalty area. And on the second goal there was an offside.

There were two clear fouls that should have been penalties for Brazil.
Still, I don't know whether Brazil would have won that match, but this referee should be banned for life from World Cups.

I think Germany deserved the win. They have been consistently excellent since the 2006 tournament, and their current generation of players is all-around solid as well.

Congratulations Germany.

But IMO, Argentina equally deserved a win in this particular game. Messi was tracked and stifled. And I do not particularly enjoy the type of game where one or two strikers remain near off-side position to execute sudden counter attacks.

However, it is my view alone and the winner takes it all. :)

I agree with you. Argentina did really well on this match.

However, except for these two last matches, Argentina played pretty poorly, just good enough to win the matches, and even so always relying on Messi to win. And I also don't like teams that play too defensively counting too much on counter-attacks, but it is completely understandable that many of them choose to do so.

I absolutely love how group play is essential on the Germany team. I hope more teams follow the same example.

I'm sorry Argentina did not win it. I thought they were unlucky.

I thought they were lucky to get past round of 16. cant have a team based around one player especially when teams have figured out how to stop him..mark him with 3 players..messi becomes messy
