Would it Physically Impossible to Load Up Noah's Arc?

The Bible indicates that likely all animals were hebivorous except the serpent which GOD condemned to eat dead things.

Which makes things even worse, plant material is, on average, less dense and has a lower calorie value than meat. Herbivorous animals need more mass and more volume of food per day than carnivores of the same body size.

If you want to make that argument, which is unsupported by the bible, you could fit even fewer animals onto the ark.

Well, interestingly, GOD only sends to Noah the land animals. GOD deals with the marine life and the grass/trees. So GOD could and likely provided for the animals and Noah's family; however, right after the FLOOD, GOD commands Noah in chapter 9 of Genesis that he could now eat meat and how he may eat it.

So, it can be logically deduced that GOD did this to provide an additional food source for Noah (as fruit was likely somewhat scarce and the environment had likely changed drastically).
You can't eat meat after you disembark, because the animals needs to repopulate the world first. And that may take years, if not decades or centuries.

That didn’t stop Noah from sacrificing a bunch of those animals needed to repopulate the earth as soon as he got off the ark.

Gen 8:20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
Gen 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour;

I know this is sidetracking the topic....but you have brought up an interesting quote from the Genesis, fantome profane:

Why do a god need to smell the burnt offering (sacrifice)?

Perhaps, I should raise this question in a new topic.

My question is why save these animals from the flood just to sacrifice them to the fire?
