I'd want to understand what is waiting in the wings to take over, before I answered this question.

Nope. Not everyone in Turkey wants Erdogan heading the ship of state and god help anyone who even shows signs of being in his way.Ah i see
Now that the people of Turkey wants him, are u happy for them?
You say that as if it would be a bad thing.Secular atheists behind the coup means gay pride in Istanbul 2017 close to the mosques.

Which means more freedom and power for the people. If your mosque cannot stand the sight of people who live a life that you believe is wrong, then it is your mosque (or church, synagogue, or whatever) that must examine their own views because it is not their right to dictate the lives of others.Secular atheists behind the coup means gay pride in Istanbul 2017 close to the mosques.
I'd be happy if all religion was purged from all states and people could go on about their lives without concern that their disagreement with a religion could mean a various range of punishments, including execution. I don't have a problem with religion, but I do have a problem when someone who runs a state demands that everyone be observant to their own personal religious views.
As for the coup, I would have seen it as a god send for the Turkish people, as their secular status has been corroding and evaporating before their very eyes.
The great sadness is that many Turks are good with that erosion.I'd be happy if all religion was purged from all states and people could go on about their lives without concern that their disagreement with a religion could mean a various range of punishments, including execution. It means, i exercise my universal right to oppose homosexuality.I don't understand the last line. It has no meaning in English.
I wasn't aware that that was a universal right. Are you good with my "universal right" to oppose Islam? It means, i exercise my universal right to oppose homosexuality.
Depends who is behind the coup.
