If god job comes with omnipotence, you could simply make yourself a good enough god :D

Kowledge and organisation are defintely a form of power, so sure, with the proos, anyone can be God :D

Yes, if it came with omnipotence I'd probably not change myself but make other gods to do all the work for me and then I can chill out listening to the sound of the universe, I mean if I were god that'd probably be the music I'd be into.... front row seat to the concert

If organization and knowledge make you God, then I know many gods already :p.

Right, and for one person to be God and the son of God at the same time would just be confusing.
That would be snappy, except for one small detail: I am not Angellous' son.

I'd quite happily become a god, but I'm pretty certain nobody else would want me to.

The world would end up looking like Mordor and Transylvania's psychopathic lovechild.

If I were God.....I would be sooooooo offended!

After all the effort to form unique and graceful spirits.....
and this is the thanks I get.

Time for another reboot (mass extinction).

god, higher being or whatever you wanna call it.

what would you do differently?

just a hypothetical question.

Way less pain, suffering, and misery. That's just me though. I understand that other gods might get off on making their creations suffer in agony.

Heck, I wouldn't even want to be the president of the United States. I think the president gets criticized more than anyone else in the country and he/(and maybe soon she)gets blamed for everything that goes wrong.

I'd be a pretty mean deity, considering I'm actually a misanthropist.

I wouldn't make humans the only intelligent species on the planet; I'd have something that was more dangerous and intelligent, preferably that wouldn't overpopulate and destroy all of humanity, though like the jötnar or asuras, or typified giants and orcs, LOTR style. Maybe something that eats humans.

I'd also make it more or less impossible for my denial, by making my existence glaringly obvious through making the mountains spell out my existence, and having that same message spread out through all moutnains.

And I'd implement a system of instant negative karma for slander upon my divine name or whining about how I should or shouldn't do something, just for kicks, lightning bolt style. :p

I did say that you ain't seen nothing yet.

I'd take the opportunity and keep trying to do the seemingly impossible. Which is to make everyone and everything 'happy'. No victimization, no tragedies, no injustices or inequality, no conflicts and so on. I would almost certainly fail, but i'd keep trying anyway.

I might exclude some people from all this, though. Like people with poor umbrella etiquette. Or people who like to stand real close when you're talking to them. What's that all about?!

Oh and couples who call each other by pet names like "Tom Tom".
