Several threads lately have addressed the LDS belief in a Spirit World where the spirits of all mankind go after death and remain until the time of the resurrection and Final Judgment. As has been explained, we believe that for the righteous, life in the Spirit World will be "Paradise." For with wicked, it will be "Prison." But for all, there will be the opportunity to continue to learn and grow spiritually. Although Jesus Christ will not be there personally, His Gospel (LDS-version) will be being taught to everyone who will listen. (Darn, those pesky missionaries just don't know when to quit! ). But the good news is, it's not too late to accept their message after all! In short, everything is exactly the way the LDS people you knew here on earth said it would be, down to the last detail. What would your reaction be?

Quite the contrary Jesus my Lord will be there according to scripture otherwise I would not want to be thee,Sorry ,I never actually read the first thread,but I get the just of the ones I did read,by the way the scriptures do indicate quite clearly that I as a christian will be with the LORD FOREVER contrary to popular LDS opinion and doctrine

Actually, that makes the question even more relevant - as the question assumes finding yourself in an afterlife when you die. At that point the fact that you did not believe in an afterlife while you were alive is irrelevant - you are in fact in an afterlife.

Actually, according to scripture, Jesus is is Heaven. My OP wasn't even about Heaven.

Well, since you never bothered reading the OP, I'll excuse your inability to comment intelligently on it.

By the way, you obviously know next to nothing about "popular LDS opinion." Would you like me to take that into account, too, before simply dismissing your comments as too far off the mark to even bother with?
