I think it's disgusting that Microsoft, a company that has products all over the world, a company that makes a butt load of money, also happens to be more anti-piracy than smaller companies that will actually miss the 20 bucks they lost from a cd-crack, and they charge to play games online. WOW I understand why they charge. There are no sponsors, unlike Battle.net services that where sponsored, and it's expensive to run a game of that size, with so many players. However, Microsoft is getting some money from content downloads, I'm guessing some money out of having things such as Zune or Netflix on XBox live, and they are still the only console that charges to play online. They will never be able to convince me that it is too costly and they would loose too much money. Especially considering Nintendo, who doesn't have a line of electronics, computers, operating systems, and products found in homes, schools, hospitals, and offices throughout the world can offer free gaming for the Gamecube, Wii, and DS. Yet with Microsoft, I checked out Flight Simulator X from the library once, and couldn't play it because the cd-key had already been used 10 times.
