Yajurveda rejects Atheism?!. Does it?

It's a kind of milkshake, imported from an Island off of Slovenia, a beautiful mixture of pomegranate, Concord grapes, and peppermint mango. It is particularly sacred to Varuna, Indra, and Logeswara.

either that or ... google is your friend.

Since you don't even know what a sloka is, I'm quite sure you haven't been reading the Yajurveda at all.

I get it . So it is a verse if it is in prose and a couplet if it is a unit of a poetry.

Isn't it rejection of Atheism by Yajurveda? Please

Yajurveda
CHAPTER XXXVII

14. God pervades all the objects of Nature. He is Father of the
wise, and Guardian of all living creatures.
He is Self Effulgent, and being Creator, shines like the shining man
of knowledge. Let all attain to Him.
15. Fire duly receives light from the Self-Effulgent God, and from
the impelling sun created by God.
Know Him truly through righteous conduct.
Through religious practices, attain to God, the Self-Illuminator, the
Stimulator, and the Glorifier of all material objects.
16. God is the Sustainer of the Sun, who imparts heat to all objects
in the atmosphere. He is Immortal and realisable through austerity.
Effulgent God is the Sustainer of all the forces of Nature. He shines
lustrously. May He grant us Vedic speech, full of excellent teachings
and companion of the learned
.
17. May I see God, the "Protector, the Immovable, knowable
through paths of virtue, here and hereafter.
He encompassing the
Quarters and sub-quarters, permeates all the worlds,
18. Lord of all earths, Lord of all minds, Lord of all vedic speech,
thou Lord of speech entire ; Brilliant, happiness bestowing God, Listener
to the supplications of the learned, Guardian, protect in this world the
righteous learned persons
. Give us the pleasant knowledge of useful
instructions and excellent teachings. Protect favourably the learned for
acquiring divine virtues, with the help of the teacher and preacher who
know the science of honey, antidote to poison.
19. O God, we meditate on thee, for the purity of heart, for the
steadfastness of mind, for the manifestation of knowledge, and for learning
the science of heavens. Foremost Thou. Preach Thou the sacrifice free
from violence, in noble dealings and amongst learned persons.
20. O God Thou art our Father, King-like instruct us fatherly.
Obeisance be to thee. Do not Thou harm me.

It definitely does not support "no-God" and "Irreligious" stance of Atheism/Agnosticism/Skepticism/Humanism. Does it? Please

Namaste,

Any opinion on my post previously:

Here i reproduce for your convenience.

"Shruddha is the word translated here as "faith", according to Nighantu (Interpretation and explanation of words from the Veda Samhitas by ancient linguists) and in general usage Shruddha has many meanings,

In Nighantu for example.

"srad-dha is (so called) on account of being based on truth (vrad)".

Commenting on this the Acharya Durga (traditional Hindu guy, so probably means nothing to those who know better then Hindus) remarks that "Srad-Dha means that intuitive attitude which one assumes towards religion and' secular and spiritual matters and which does not undergo any change.

So technically this is not meaning Faith as in unbeliever or Atheist, in this Mantra quoted by Paarsuray, the interpretation i take away is Shrudha (that which is based on truth) is established as Truth."

So does this Mantra "Yajurveda Chapter XIX (19) Verse 77", gets clarified now, This is not talking against Atheist or non believers ect. because A-sraddha would mean "attitudes and assumptions not based on Truth".

Therefore the Mantra would be more accurately translated as:

"God through His pure knowledge, viewing both forms has
explained truth and falsehood. He has assigned the attitudes and assumptions not based on Truth to false-
hood, and attitudes and assumptions based on truth to truth".

Just like the rest of the Mantras you have quoted, none rejects Atheism.

Dhanyavad
