I must say that I find it pretty disturbing that people cling to guilt in the face of an acquittal. If we are going to label someone guilty because of gossip and prejudicial conduct then we are leaving the realm of actual evidence and would have many more innocent convicts.

our system is supposed to protect those falsely accused. I guess it goes to show that one is not truly innocent until proven guilty. Once the accusation is substantiated not by verdict but by prosecution alone, then that person faces the punishment of having such an accusation linger over them for the rest of their lives.

In court this week I saw a video of a CO and a uniformed PO doing that to a prisoner in city jail. The prisoner was convicted of assault on the CO.

You know I never understood GZ defenders they use words like "pummel" "attack" "thug" the latter seems to be overused nowadays. We weren't there.
