You Know You're On RF If...

You see some people saying that you're attacking a belief system or someone when you really are not doing something like it. Makes me sad. :(

When people ask a question that has been asked a million times but posts it as if it is the most profound question ever asked and has never been asked before. ;)

When you annoy your friends by reading all the comments in the "you know you're on rf if" thread, and laugh hysterically at most of them, knowing that they don't get most of it.

You spend hours searching for interesting threads when you should be doing something more productive

You start to think that certain posters fell out of old tv shows like "Leave it to Beaver" and "Donna Reed". Either that, or you just took a trip to the 50s in the Delorian.

You keep hearing about a guy that's somehow everybody's daddy.

A hawt leather-clad woman with a whip "glomps" you or gives you a "squishy hug."

You find yourself pondering something like the fallacy of retrospective determinism (or some such) in a thread about bagels.

You develop a lightning fast understanding of what "DIR" means and not to post in most of them.

When a thread gets closed before it is resolved.

You come up with what you think is an amazing argument for some topic, rush to post it, and then find out there's already nine threads on the same thing.

You object to someone seeming to apply the worst possible interpretation to your post, and after you respond to it, spend the rest of the night wondering if you did the same thing to him.
