Young Hillsong Church congregant who mocked vaccine dies of COVID

Yes. People who are immune-compromised due to medical or medical treatment conditions.

As to the rest, wilful ignorance and relying on misinformation from unreliable sources are the chief culprits.

They can spread the virus too. I mean those who aren't exempt.

Can they choose without being misinformed... if not, how do you "know"?

At this point, those still "waiting for more information amd data," it's like insisting you have to stay to see who wins the race after it's done and everyone else went home.
People that don’t want the vaccine, for what ever reason don’t really care if people get vaccinated or what other people think about it. There was confusion as to the reasons, so I gave some reasons, some people felt the need to discount these. We have other treatments available other than the vaccines.

I know they don't care. They've made it abundantly clear over this past year they don't care.
And, again, vaccines are not treatments. Vaccines help to not need treatment.

Is your comment to me really what you think I’m communicating? Because it’s not
I care but don’t care what you think of my decisions that I make for my family. Do you care what I think about the decisions you make?

What do yu mean "exempt"?

Well, there is being informed about facts. Information based on facts is what epidemiologists and hospital administrators and statisticians are giving us. On the other hand, there is non-factual information being disseminated by people with no expertise whatsoever. An excellent example of this is the document being touted by @ElishaElijah. This document was put together by a disgraced cardiologist and another doctor with no experience or expertise in Covid related fields. This is misinformation.

If people are choosing to believe information from a cardiologist regarding a global pandemic, that is on them. There is no rational reason for this. Religious fundamentalists teach their very young children to distrust and disparage science. Unfortunately, this early training endures throughout adulthood.

Opps. Yes. Both can spread the virus. So, this seem more of a political issue.

You're generalizing. That and we don't know what info both pro/antivaxxers looked up.

Provaxxers can be just the same.. looking at coerced and thinking All facts are credible because an expert says them. That's a definition a logical fallacy. I mean with all my doctors I ask questions. Ideally in person.

I haven't been following All of ElishaElijah posts. Excluding god references, I agree to let people decide for themselves with both sides. The health officials and government aren't giving both sides...either by completely ignoring them or downplaying them. Misdirection.

Hey. Some people do and some don't. Both vax and unvax.

Here's where I do agree with ElishaElijah

This is true and on the other hand you could show the people that die from getting the vaccine or have had adverse effects. Give people all the accurate info and let them make their own decisions.

Well, maybe and the point is there are risks in life for practically everything, so why exploit, use scare tactics and conflicting information? Give the correct info and then people are free to decide whether to take whatever treatment they want like some of the medication that was already available, but they wouldn’t have it and suppressed that information. It’s not one size fits

You just conflated treatments with vaccines - again!
So you have no idea what I mean? There are treatments that aren’t vaccines for Covid for people who don’t want to take vaccines. It’s like wow bruv moment for me for you all that you haven’t a clue after a week of talking. No wonder you don’t understand where people are coming from.
It’s unbelievable that we can’t get along in society and even have an issue with whether someone wants to take the vaccine or not. Then for the ones who don’t want the vaccine people are going to suppress the “other treatments” and options like vaccines are the “only” choice.

Do you have a problem with VAERS and the data they collect about vaccines?
Established in 1990, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) is a national early warning system to detect possible safety problems in U.S.-licensed vaccines. VAERS is co-managed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). VAERS accepts and analyzes reports of adverse events (possible side effects) after a person has received a vaccination. Anyone can report an adverse event to VAERS. Healthcare professionals are required to report certain adverse events and vaccine manufacturers are required to report all adverse events that come to their attention.

VAERS is a passive reporting system, meaning it relies on individuals to send in reports of their experiences to CDC and FDA. VAERS is not designed to determine if a vaccine caused a health problem, but is especially useful for detecting unusual or unexpected patterns of adverse event reporting that might indicate a possible safety problem with a vaccine. This way, VAERS can provide CDC and FDA with valuable information that additional work and evaluation is necessary to further assess a possible safety concern.

It's sad, and endlessly frustrating, people won't think of others and act with social responsibility. These people are making things harder, worse, and dragging this thing on.
It is the definition of insanity that this "what's best for me" is still touted after so much death and chronic illness. Clearly what's best isn't what they did.

The Covid response for the kids under 18 definitely wasn’t what was best for them seen as they weren’t at risk, yet the lockdowns have hurt them and caused more harm. So like I said at the beginning…It’s NOT one size fits all.

Yes, even those under 18 have fallen seriously ill with some dying. Not nearly as many, but saying they "weren't at risk" is not based on facts or reality.
And did you forget they can spread it as well? Get it at school and bring it home? What about adult staff at schools?

The other thing is that I’ve yet to go to the doctor have them guilt trip or force me to take their recommendations or have them tell me if I don’t get vaccinated the pandemic will be all my fault, that’s not how they operate. What doctors do is give you all the options with their recommendation and let you choose.

It would be very inappropriate for a doctor to do that.
