no need was fine :)

some pictures copy so large as to go off the page and I dont know how to re size :(

It's a process...

1. Save the image to your hard drive.
2. Open it with Paint (Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Paint).
3. From the Paint toolbar, Ctrl W, change the Horizontal and Vertical percentages to something smaller; re-save the image.
4. Upload it to a photo hosting site such as Photobucket, Tumblr, Flickr, etc..
5. Use the copy function to copy the url of the photo, and paste into your post.

Unfortunately this site does not allow attachments. That makes it infinitely easier to upload an image directly from your computer.

I would be delighted if we would find Krishna, Ram or any Hindu images if there was a Christian DIR favorite images post.

Don't hang by the neck waiting. ;)

I wounder how long it will take to have a picture of Muhammad turning up hand in hand with Jesus, Krishna and Buddha, if it ever does get posted i can bet it will be in the Hinduism DIR.

Are you referring to the picture of Jesus and Krishna holding hands suspended over the water? There's something creepy, for two reasons imo, about that pic.

1. It puts Jesus on a par with Krishna as God, which I don't believe.

2. IF, IF, IF Jesus were Vishnu (which even I don't believe), it would be as silly as Rāma and Narasimha arm-in-arm.

In the West, conflating christianity with Eastern religions is a virtue. Truly, it is. The alternative is far worse.

In the East...

Yeh that is the one, creepy alright.

Agree, Jesus has got no right to even be in the same room to Bhagwan Shri Krishna

2. IF, IF, IF Jesus were Vishnu (which even I don't believe), it would be as silly as Rāma and Narasimha arm-in-arm.

Big IF, and yes it would be silly..

Seems to be more of an ISKCON thing. Jesus and Sri Krishna are not the same.

Shiva's family...with Sri Hanuman????

What I like is that everyone, even the Vahanas, are there with them.

is that Krishna, Arjuna and Vishnu?? sorry for asking :)

Yes, it is Krishna showing Arjuna his divine or universal form, "vishvaroopa". Krishna takes his four-armed form, then you'll notice the other deities and beings all emanating from him. Similar:

Lord Narasimha (lit. man-lion) the 4th incarnation of Lord Vishnu, in his "ugra", ferocious or fierce form. He has a gentle and relaxed side too. Here is the story: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narasimha I have a special affinity for him next to Lord Krishna and Lord Rāma. I feel safe under Lord Narasimha's protection. :)

Now that's one image I can do without. :) So too anything with Ganesha losing his head. The sight of blood gives me an averse reaction.
