your religion is not important

your religion is not important and nobody cares what you think or believe about it.

...Nobody cares what you think about anyone else's religion either.

This rings hollow. As evidence, this forum. And me. I care about other people's religions, and came here to learn about them. And I think they are important. I just dont rate one as more important than the other.

I find it boring. Sorry.

When you see "Religion" in this vast Universe ... I can see your point ... religion is not important
When you see "Religion" on individual level, it's important for those who believe. Gives them joy, hope..

When other people are happy, the world becomes more happy. This also affects me, so I think it is important "what/how people think"

Maybe I misunderstand you, but if all people would stick to "their own business/religion", lots of problems would be solved. No religious wars etc.

I think its a little more complicated than what you are saying.

As a Jew, what I hope for the world is ethical monotheism. So yes, I definitely care what others believe. If for example, they believe in a pantheon of Gods that don't care about their personal relative morality, I am very concerned for them. So please don't say "nobody" cares, since I am a somebody.

It is also true that I thin that all Jews are bound by a covenant with God, whether they want it so or not. So for them to observe Judaism matters a great deal.

On the other hand, let's say there is a non-Jew. I don't think it matters if this person is a Muslim, or Christian, or Lakota traditionalist. They believe in the Creator and in having good sound ethics. The specifics are not critical.
