I received one during hte summer when it became mandatory in public transport (which I use). I liked it and it's the one I currently use. It's a small, low cost gesture that can save some people time. It's not "effective" or groundbreaking, but I see it as a nice courtesy. If something becomes mandatory, the government might as well provide it to all.

It' funny because so many here do believe masks are an erosion of their rights. They absolutely refuse to accept it's an inconvenience at best. Real dictatorships aren't funny, but reactive Americans who only know first-world problems screaming closures and masks are communism and makes us live under a dictatorship is something that begs for criticism and comical jabs.

It's best demonstrated by "pissed off redneck conservative" I saw in Indiana. He fuses up a storm the the ADA that Obama signed into law says he doesn't have to wear a mask because of his COPD. He goes outside this store and lights up a cigarette.
They really, truly believe that having to wear a mask is against their rights and freedoms. It's funny because businesses in Indiana will tell you there is nothing they can do about people not wearing a mask, but they sure have wanted to make sure they can do something about them gays coming in.
