Zero Probability of Evolution. Atheism wrong?

Some have higher moral standards than others, it is my opinion based solely on personal experience that many christians are distinctly lacking in some aspects of human morality

Actually having money will buy you a decent funeral of your own choice.

Every walk of man lacks morality in one or or another.

A better funeral? Like anyone getting buried will enjoy it. Its about the ego of the one going to the grave and nothing more. Be your funeral cost $10 million or $10, you're both just as dead, experience no enjoyment from it and gain nothing from it.

For example I have stated that most agnostics are atheists.
I do not believe that is true, personally. As a good section of liberal Christianity identify as agnostic theist as well as the majority of theistic eastern polytheists. That's a lot of agnostic theist. I would say that most atheists are probably agnostic though.

Yes % are great. According to your figures in prison Christians should out number atheist 35-to-1 which is on or near par with the world figures of Christians to atheists. Percentages are great.

Web have discussed world figures about half an hour ago, once again it seems you are unable to account for China and Europe in your
argument

And even going by your guesswork figures, 0.07% is a long way short of 35 : 1

It would be interesting to see some statistics on that claim. I may be relying on what I see at forums, and I know that is not representative of the population as a whole.

Speak for your self

Who is changing the subject now? I am absolutely sure enjoyment didnt come into the question until just now.

And no, it's about respect for those you leave behind, im surprised you are not aware of this.

Once again, i was providing facts pertaining to percentages that YOU challenged

As for changing the subject, do you want to continue on my discussion with billiardsball or do you want to go down the root you have decided the discussion should go.
Root of what? Christians out number atheist around 33-to-1. For every 1 atheist mistake 33 Christians have to make the same mistake. Ratio wise they run neck to neck. It there in plain sight for those who want to see it. Christians don't see it because they think they are better. Atheist don't see it because they think they are better. Neither of you are better and both are blind to that fact which is why there is so much turmoil between both groups.

You claimed money buys a better funeral. Fact is when you die you have no clue if you have a extravagant funeral or are just tossed in a mud hole.

I know. It's listed on my beliefs. Lol.
Just pointing it out because I think it's a legitimate criticism to lump agnosticism and atheism together, as I would venture to say not even most agnostics out there are agnostic atheist. (Though I would be willing to wager most atheists are agnostic atheists.)

I would think it the other way round. Disbelief in god and no knowledge of god are close philosophies.

Certainly all the atheists i know are strong atheists, the evidence of this forum seems to bare out that

Are you saying that money doesn't buy you a better funeral?

The deceased lack of feeling has little to do with those attending your funetral

That is not so, in my prison example ratio wise the ratio of Christian prisoners to Christian population is 8:7

The ratio of atheist prisoners to atheist population is 0.7 : 3.1

Actually one reason for the friction is because people make up numbers and claim them as valid

Positive atheism, also called strong atheism and hard atheism, is the form of atheism that additionally asserts that no deities exist.

That sums you up. You assert what you cannot know.

I would too. Unfortunately most census, especially global ones, keep agnosticism as it's own separate category which is seldom theologically accurate. But it fits with the philosophy of many world religions, including most schools of traditional Buddhism (Buddhism being non-theistic is a newer and largely western view. Most Buddhists believe in the existence of devas, but not worshipping them in the western sense), Hindu, non-orthodox Judaism and contemporary non-literal Christians. This is a good book about an overview of the latter: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...Q5OUBCKUBMAg&usg=AOvVaw1maximajEBPaPpx0F1k0WG

And 8.7 Christians compared to 0.7 atheists comes out to 12 to 1. Not 33 to 1 as Christians currently out number atheists. Anything else?

Last poll of the forums I saw had agnostic atheists outnumbering strong atheists. It might have changed since then but like has been said, the forum is hardly representational, being dominated by Americans with our own exasperating hard Christian hard atheist dichotomy. An attitude not prevalent in much of the rest of the world.

Belief in gods without knowledge of gods are close philosophies too. Prevalent in many eastern mysticisms, deism, non-orthodox Judaism etc.

The Lost One
I questioned the accuracy of the Bible when an adult, but as I checked on predictive prophecy in both testaments, I found the results compelling and God to be a super-mind who exists outside of our timespace.

When I was a teenager, I believe in Jesus, and didn’t question the bible, or the “prophecies” that the gospel authors (eg gospel of Matthew) quoted from the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament), but studies in college, and works took priority and my attention, before I baptised, then I didn’t touch the bible for nearly 15 years.

But despite my 15-year hiatus from the bible and church, I was a believer until I have picked up the bible again.

When I have reread the bible in 2000, including those so-called “prophecies” of Jesus, I came to realisation that the authors interpretations of the gospels are faulty, and the church teachings about those Christian versions of the messianic prophecies to be also based on faulty interpretations, using false premises - the premise that they believe Jesus is the one the OT prophecise.

Being older had the opposite effect to your experiences, it made me more skeptic not only because of the church teachings and scriptural interpretations, but the whole stance of Christianity.

When I was younger, I didn’t have enough experience to question the bible or church teachings, and made me rethink what churches have been teaching me.

It has now been 18 years, I am glad that I didn’t go through converting, and I am still an agnostic.

And being here, in this forum, meeting different Christians, I see that I have made with some friends whom I like, but others just prove to me not all Christians are honest, especially these so-called creationists.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, ... You can't serve both God and Mammon.

Its clear where you stand. Sadly you will never know if your funeral was great and cost a lot or was cheap and you were thrown in a muddy hole.

I'm well to do. My funeral will be small, only family and my body won't be there. I've donated my body upon death to science after my organs are harvested. Once I'm dead my body and organs, god being or not being, mean nothing to me or god. You should check into doing the same. Help mankind and science.

Beauty as a peson sees it has nothing to do with if they do or don't believe. Sorry you think that matters. Clear our mind of that falseness and everything will become more beautiful to you.

The falseness is found in your evident inability to process what you read
You could hardly have misread my statement more if you scrambled all the words.

If you are actually developmentally challenged, pardon my insensitivity.

If not plz dont comment on my posts if you are going to just make things up.
