Unintelligent Design

I don't have a problem with those believing in what they believe in, but I do have a problem with those who claim to know "the answers" at the expense of others. One aspect of religion that we can well observe is that most religious doctrines simply are unfalsifiable. If someone doesn't understand or believe this, prove this wrong:

The universe was created by the Cosmic Godzilla working in conjunction with myriads of Cosmic Leprechauns whereas the stars were fiery spit-wads from Godzilla and the planets were made by the non-fiery Leprechauns. Prove this wrong.

So why all the goofs? Or do you prefer to simply ignore them?

Perfection would be rather boring. If things were designed perfect, you would not be able to find joy in these cynical threads that you create. Consider the goofs for your own happiness. If things were perfect, you wouldn't be able to be a cynic. Oh no! What a lame and terrible perfect life that would be. You obviously find joy in creating and chatting about goofs... no goofs, no joy.

If things were perfect, you'd still manage to find something to complain about... but that's the joy of imperfection, it doesn't make things lame, boring, one-dimensional, and redundant. Gives you the opportunity to complain and for a bunch of different people to reason and communicate. Perfection would equal no debate forums, how boring! Intelligent goofs.

Lol, you never know. And we have no choice but to play the Godzilla and Leprechaun's game. If we don't wanna play the video game, too bad... They placed a cheat code where we have infinite lives and respawn somewhere over and over.

We cease to be conscious that's for sure. I mean we don't even have consciousness when we're under anethesia and our brains are still working. We don't have consciousness when we pass out from drinking too much, or from a knock on the head, or in a coma. Why would I ever expect to have consciousness after I die when my brain...the only thing that gives me consciousness to begin with...is no longer functioning?

The coma is a good example. If we have a soul that allows us consciousness after we die, why doesn't it function when we're in a coma?

Your brain doesn't give you anything. It's a physical piece of meat. Energy runs through your body and brain.

How are you so sure you've found the one "true god" while everyone else (who believes the same about their god) have got it wrong?
And how are others supposed to look at the situation and determine who's got it right (if any of you actually are right) when you're all making similar claims but none have any good evidence?

Deductive logic. If they are not objectively the same, they are all wrong.

Admitting that your god goofed up in his "intelligent" design. Hmmmmmm . . . . . . . .

The mind can be quite goofy. "god" or "his" were never mentioned. Your intelligent goof. It happens when goofy intelligence read into what they personally assume. But if things were perfect, you wouldn't be able to do such.

Gotta follow the thread of the conversation, dear Uni. It goes back to post 9. Just click on the "name said: ↑" at the top of each quote. It'll eventually take you back there.

It's one of those function that was intelligently designed.

You're welcome

The thread was unintelligently designed with pre-determined conditioning of the mind as to what the designer only sees. The goofy intelligence that "God" is this and must be that, that creationism must be this or that and apply to every human that responds to this thread. The unintelligent designer of this thread sees a skydaddy in space creating failures. If you fail to see the perfectly imperfect capable joys to your own intelligent nature in which you design and are the creator of, my condolences.

Perhaps those blind spots hinder you to see such, you haven't saw the light yet. Eat properly, have your wisdom teeth removed, and don't damage your spine.. Learn proper lifting and posture. If eyes were perfect , there would be no need for eye doctors or science. If teeth were perfect, there would be no need for dentists and science. If the throat and body were perfect, there would be no need to eat or drink and have that joy. If anything were perfect, this life would suck and be boring.

Seeing as you haven't offed yourself yet, I'd say you would rather have those eyes, throat, teeth, and spine than to not have.

I love you though bud, as your evolving perfectly imperfect, intelligently/unintelligent, flawless/flawed self.

Creation is a wonderful thing. Just imagine that happening by "natural selection." I don't think so.
In my opinion, the only explanation that makes any sense of the laryngeal nerve in the giraffe is that it was pieced together over time via natural selection. It certainly doesn't seem like something any intelligent being would design.
