Do You Favor Belief Over Knowledge and Curiosity?

No,of course not.

Tyre and Rome both have ancient buildings
that are still standing. You showed photos that
make it look as if Tyre is just old ruins; rather
misleading.

When Bible speaks of Tyre that should be ruins, it speaks about the island city that is ruins.

The city that is on the continent, is not same thing and Bible is not speaking same thing about the daughter city(ies).

They shall destroy the walls of Tyre, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her a bare rock. She shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea (<= island); for I have spoken it, says the Lord Yahweh; and she shall become a spoil to the nations. Her daughters who are in the field shall be slain with the sword: and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
Eze. 26:4-6

Evolution has been proven far beyond a reasonable doubt.

The fact is that it is a belief, even if you think it is truth. There is no scientific proof for it. It can’t be tested, so it can’t be confirmed by scientific method, thus, not really scientific.

The entire island was to be "scraped clean" and never found again. You are now just lying to yourself.

Yes, Bible tells it well be scraped clean of its dust. At this point we have no means to check was it cleaned of dust. But it is certainly ruins as the Bible told, which is why I can easily believe the dust as cleaned.

Where does the Bible mention 6000 years?

Did you actually read what I said?

6K or whatevs

It doesn't, and it does not really matter, does it?
And if it did, next year it would be wrong.

You do understand that I meant like, god-poof
recently as opposed to that secular atheistic
satan-driven "deep time" that geologists and
other phonies talk about?

That has got to be the most lame excuse for
an escape that I ever heard in my life.

I notice you cleverly omitted the rest of the line
"make her a bare rock." That is cheating.

You do know the difference between a bare rock,
and one like this?
https://www.google.com/search?q=cit...5#imgdii=KhrOkUcC0BpykM:&imgrc=LAOdbMKrG6xpaM:

You know the difference between honesty and cheating, right?

Makes me think of when I was in middle school,
and I beat the then-champion of the chess club.

When he saw it was checkmate he made some
ridiculous illegal move like jumping his king over
a pawn, and said it was "French rules".

I just walked away. He may have then moved
for me, so that he won. Who cares.

Cheating is cheating.

Correct, the island was and is Tyre. It still exists. Alexander the Great built a causeway when he attacked it, not part of the Tyre prophecy by the way, it is now attached to the mainland. And we can still find it today and it was never "scraped clean".

Wrong, for you it might be a belief because you do not understand it. For me and countless others it is knowledge. Knowledge is demonstrable, mere belief is not. And it has been confirmed by the scientific method. Where did you get the crazy idea from that I could not be confirmed?

It was to be bare rock and only a place for the spreading of nets. And yes, the ruins that you posted is proof positive that it was not scraped clean. Once again, only a small part of Tyre is ruins. Just as part of Rome is ruins.

It is like talking to an alcoholic who
can sit there amid squalor and empty
bottles, and deny he has a problem.

Hopefully they can understand the difference between knowledge and belief. Perhaps a simple rhyme will help:

If you can't show it you don't know it.

I promise to live by this...

...as soon as you show me your thoughts.

Please provide evidence and citations.

 I think that you are only confusing yourself at best. When you do not understand the best policy is to ask questions politely and properly. You might want to start all over.

Actually, you may wish to start over. Reread the last few posts.

But since you're all about learning, allow me to share the Cliff's Note's version...

I can, but why should I? That post should not be that hard to understand and yet it appears to be beyond your capabilities.

I do not respond well to rudeness.

Then we are all fortunate that I was not being rude.

Why should you? To support your claim, of course. You, above all people, should know this.
