The Absolute Truth

Instead, knowing that you are not imbued with perfect knowledge, you feel it is acceptable for you to be dogmatic. Interesting.
Why is it that dogmatic True Believers always project their biases on everyone else?

Not a definition, just an observation: believers like to capitalize "Truth" and when they do they usually mean their dogma or their scripture. Lower case truth usually signifies a true statement, something that is in accord with the facts.

These are not opposites, they are a different take on the same word. Absolute 'Truth' has for the most part the interpretation that a belief has absolute factual meaning, whether verifiable or not, which is the topic of the thread. Actually, in religions, churches and belief systems 'dogma' may be fixed belief, but not necessarily absolute, and could be temporal..

David Koresh thought he was on the path to discovering the absolute truth.

Discovering Truth has a slippery slope. One must be willing to Discover what is the actual truth instead of what one wants the truth to be. If not careful, one could end up on a path away from the Real Truth.

There is learning on every journey regardless of the choices. Given enough lifetimes one will wander back on the right path. After understanding all sides, intelligence will make the best choices back to that Real Truth.

Your jumping around here. The belief in the Trinity is ONLY true or a Truth for those that believe it as a religious belief based on faith.. It has no relationship to fact or reality as Truth is defined.mIn fact even the existence of God, without considering the belief in the Trinity, could ONLY be considered Truth from the individual perspective based on faith, and not a 'fact in reality.'.

Something some people believe something is 'Truth;' ie Trinity, but it does not make it true, because the reality likely it is a fact that most do not believe it true.
We make reality.

How does one know if one has taken the Right path?
How does one know if one has taken the Wrong path?
How does one know if one has discovered the Real Truth?

Why do you assume that there are many lifetimes to wander about searching for Truth?

That he has revealed nothing about himself is evidence that he does not exist.
One's understanding is incorrect, G-d has revealed his attributes in Quran and these are also reflected in the Universe.

Some old guy fantasizing in the hot desert is not indicative of a god revealing anything. It is indicative of an old guy fantasizing in the hot desert. Muhammad wasn't the first, nor the last.

If you were 100% certain that you knew the absolute truth, about God, the creation of the universe, what happens after death, etc...

Would you feel that any action necessary to get this truth out to the rest of the world would be justified?
Yes.

Yes, that is what I am doing here.

Oh I see.
I figured that if any atheist / unbeliever were honest enough to admit they were preaching on RF boards, it would be you. So at least you really are honest. :D

As is the claim of every religion, church, sect, and belief system concerning their scripture, but it is abundantly obvious that they all are conflicting and contradictory in their literal and interpretation of the ancient scripture.

MATH! It's the base. Everything must add up completely since everything about Real Truth will add up completely.

Do you assume I am assuming? There is more to Discover and Learn than there can ever be done in one mere lifetime. Eternity has purpose.

Of course, scripture from 150 years ago is never misunderstood.

You ask: "Do you assume I am assuming?" No, I conclude you are making stuff up.

Of course, scripture from 150 years ago is never misunderstood.

Of course, it is obvious that ALL scripture can be misunderstood by fallible humans, many Christians and Muslims believe, as previously cited, that it cannot be misunderstood concerning foundation basics.

The Baha'i Faith does not make the claim that many believers make for ancient scripture. The Baha'i Faith considers all scripture evolving, temporal, and not Absolute. Your bias and ignorance proceed you.
