Actually there is no practical use at all for cosmology
It is not true that there is no practical use of cosmology, Cosmology is intimately related to the sciences of Physics and Quantum Mechanics in understanding the underlying nature of everything.

The knowledge of Quantum Mechanics lies at the foundation Physics and Cosmology

anc, still far far less to vague notions about some " afterlife".

As far as science goes there are likely no possible "notions of afterlife."

" As far as science goes there are likely no possible "notions of afterlife." "

Quite understandable Science has no " notions of afterlife", as it has "no notions of beforelife*"; it is beyond limits of Science set for it by the "Scientific Method", all these issues come and are discussed under the " Religious Method ", right, please?

*I don't subscribe to the notion of beforelife- meaning " Pre-existence, preexistence, beforelife, or premortal existence, is the belief that each individual human soul existed before mortal conception, and at some point before birth enters or is placed into the body. Concepts of pre-existence can encompass either the belief that the soul came into existence at some time prior to conception or the belief that the soul is eternal. Pre-existence - Wikipedia "

Science can only detect less than 5% of universal mass, the 95% omnipresent dark energy is not yet understood by science, so its ignorance wrt spiritual matters is to be expected.

Can't we say, therefore, that as human knowledges has increased, human ignorance has also increased almost proportionately, please, right??

Yes, but that is prophesy that a Satanic influence would emerge that would have many people increase their interest in materiality, at the expense of their spirituality, from Theism to Atheism. Not that science is intrinsically evil, but in the hands of Atheists, it can be badly misused.

Who could be worse than I, as a Uni student in the USA.

A absolutely awful asian alien atheist
and a left handed liberal lesbian!

All 4ft 11 / 93 lbs of satan- inspired need
with her nose in a book or in a lab.

Just looking for science to misuse!!
Nobody but a atheist could be that rotten, after all.

Having been told by one particularly nasty bigot that he was waiting for Word from " God" that it was time to kI'll all the atheists and he'd have me hanging from a lamp post-
I'm pretty happy to be back in China where we don't have such people.

Life is a creative process, any and all 'failings', perceived or not, are meant for you to overcome, and you will eventually. All the best to you.

Nor is dark energy (if it actually exists) understood by you.

Perhaps your ignorance of spiritual matters is also expected.
