  • What would you like to know? As I said, I take the same opinion as the Midrash that it's referring to the Council of Angels, the "Sons of God", and these same beings are who say that Adam would be like "one of us".
Hey Brother, Hope things have been well for you. Read your thread about converting, and while I can say a lot of good about the Anglican Movement, it really doesn't address your question. So my thoughts are with you, and in time I'm sure an answer will reveal itself. :namaste
I go to college at Bowling Green State University, in Northwest Ohio. I became a believing Christian officially when I was about 14, in 2008. I decided to inquire into Orthodox Christianity in the summer of this past year, at the age of 19, before I went to college. I haven't actually converted to Orthodoxy yet, but for all intents and purposes, I do consider myself an Orthodox Christian. :) May I ask where you go to school, and when exactly you became interested in Christianity? Was it this semester, or did you have an interest before then?
Awesome man! I think Om is a gem from the genre.
Compared to what you thought you went to school for... maybe you had an idea?
Was the 'Spiritual leader' a surprise to you?

I hope that they can find a way for your to combine loves.
Remember, being a spiritual leader doesn't just mean preaching...
    It's a way of life :D

    Keep me posted, Brother.
    Love your profile pic man.
Om's albums are pretty cool stuff :)

You just found the picture or are you into stoner-rock?

Hope you've been well Brother! :)
Yes, I've been influenced largely by Odion. Ratikala and Shuddhasattva have also contributed.
I believe Krishna/Vishnu (Narayana) is Supreme God, but there is only one God known by many names. I just happen to see Him in this form.
I believe Narayana manifests as Shiva and Devi (and subsequently as Lakshmi, Saraswati, Durga, Kali, et al).
I tend to lean towards Advaita. This is why Vajrayana deity yoga appeals to me. It's a fast track to oneness with God.
I believe the devas/demi-gods are real and are divine but not necessarily God Himself. They help us in our lives.
I believe that both Jesus and the Buddha were sent by God to restore the true meanings of the scriptures.
Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita that all people everywhere follow His path, and by whatever method or path they use, He blesses them. So God says if you are Muslim or Jewish or Christian or Native American, however you worship, you are worshipping Him.
