  • Rejoice NOT with those who do not follow the path of enlightenment; lest their wickness contain you.

"As he lay there, dying in the sun, the sand of desert all around him, Petaris spoke to the rock, not with his lips, but with his mind, and the rock wept tears of fresh water and his thirst was quenched."

    – If you follow the Path of Origin you will have all things you need.
Greetings Zen,hope you are well and happy in your being,i have recently watched a Documentary about India,it was very enlightening,it was about a Holy Man during a festiva.
The Holy Man or Guru lived in a tent, all he had was a sheet of fabric and some Cannabiswhich he got for free, all he did every day was accept money and give money ,so he was neither rich or poor.
To me this seemed an ideal that was quite cool ,you recieve and give,i would like to know your thoughts on this.
    My best regards
merry christmas to you zenzero! i hope you are having a cozy day, and i like your new avatar picture a lot... both suit your expression perfectly! i may have gotten a msg meant for heneni on my wall from you? we are very snowed in here in vancouver, which is a rarity. hopefully will be able to make it out to a meditation 'retreat' on jan 1st- it will be a treat to start the year like that! hugs, ranjana
One could never have so many friends that the acquisition of another would be a useless endeavor. So I thank you for your kind gesture and hope all our interactions produce fruitful discussion.
Hi Zen, thanks for the birthday wishes. That was very thoughtful of you. Be well.

    Liam.
Thank you for welcoming me. I am completely new in this kind of format. Fairly new to the whole internet network. But religion interests me and I would like to put some ideas about the meaning, the personal meaning, complicit in the Christian Bible. I was mentored by Thomas Merton and not too long along I ran into his posthumerously publish piece call opening the Bible. He noted in there that no one really knows what the Bible means, and when I read that I was shocked. Really, I thought scholars and those people who made religion a vocation and a practice knew what it means. And of course they do, or some knew that it means love of your brothers, love of this gift of life we all share; but how is it worked out in the Bible? Anyway, I want to post some explorations into those first stories in Genesis and really, I don't know, on this site, how to begin the process of posting some one or two page writings that can lead so a new understanding of what it means to be a human being who cares about the future of our children and this paradise we live upon. So, if maybe you can lend a guiding hand as to how I should post some writings, I would be grateful. I like you monicer, it definitely captures the Buddhist process of enlighenment. Thanks, PT Wenzler
