Probably true, but shouldn't those of us who have the financial ability to forego meat do it? A few of us here have said that eating meat isn't 'good or bad', it's down to circumstance. I have to travel a round trip (by bus - I don't drive) of 80 miles to stock up on veggie food, but I do it...
Me again! (not stalking you - honest!) You gave me some of those frubal things for a couple of posts I wrote (thanks). How do you give frubals to a post? I can't see a 'how to' menu here. I'm new here - 2 days - so maybe I just haven't found it yet. Thanks.

I asked a question:
By conceding that animals such as dogs, primates etc can have emotional and, to a degree, moral lives, does that in some way 'devalue' you as a human...
Yes, dogs feel love. I would think that most mammals are capable of strong attachment feelings, some of which we would term 'love'. If we, or they, didn't then mammal social groupings would disintegrate.
And I know my dog loves me, cos she told me so...
I go down the route of deities being archetypes or representatives of aspects of ourselves and of Nature.
I’m going to throw a spanner in the works here. Why do some of you literally believe in deities if no evidence of their existence is available? If they were real, then they would be...
