    Non-sentient pantheism?

Speaking of it, for anyone interested this is related to the topic at hand Anthropic principle - Wikipedia I don't know that we can say that consciousness is rare, we don't have enough information to really assert that, even if we haven't found extra terrestrials yet.

    Does Everyone Know God

I think it does capture it, it's saying that the Universe is divine and for some, conscious. For example in Hinduism a common position is idealism, but for them saying the Universe is God would impart that the Universe is also consciousness. We can see this in advaita vedanta for example...

    Does Everyone Know God

Love to goddess, love to mother, a divine incest. Kali is All! Praise to Bhairava! (image below is a depiction of Bhairava and Kali in Tantric and sexual union,18th century, from Nepal)

    Does Everyone Know God

I know god, and he is Satan. I worship Darkness, not love. Why do we suppose God is love, when his creation is mostly a void between stars? Ave Satanas!

"Catholic League: Sexual Abuse Victims Attract Demons"

Well you obviously didn't get my point so I should spell it out for you, that my concept of these things are not Western, they are Hindu. I even used the best English words, such as pantheist and preternatural. Did you just ignore those? Also, we use Sanskrit words here all the time... brahman...

Was it Cruel and Barbaric of the United States to Invade Iraq?

Well following their logic, it's only cruel and barbaric to defend yourself, nto to attack or try to destroy a people or their culture. They believe it's normal for them to be aggressors it's not cruel when it's their people! Only when their victims fight back are their victims cruel and barbaric!

proposing USA Fed laws regarding transgender folks

While I agree I don't know how this is connected to what I said that you quoted. Careful, they might think you are serious in that sentiment lol

"Catholic League: Sexual Abuse Victims Attract Demons"

So are you saying that English encapsulates all types of beliefs, even those that originate in much more precise and ancient langues such as Sanskrit? I don't believe in the supernatural. The actual term for what I believe is probably closer to "preternatural" as I see no reason why any...

    my satanic hindu beliefs

Very carefully. And with luck at being introduced to an obscure sect of tantra that just so happened to align with my years of divination in such a way that it was like reinventing the wheel, without any knowledge of Hinduism let alone said (somewhat) obscure sect. That, or divine guidance...

Thinking of going to a Durga Temple

Well good thing that's optional because, and naybe this is just me, but I think I'd go mad if I had to do that. Makes me feel OCD just thinking about it.

"Catholic League: Sexual Abuse Victims Attract Demons"

What are you talking about? Of course atheists can get possessed, and it's not just by demons but by anything really. Even their own thought forms (which is the most common possession of anyone). Maybe you should be more respectful and not say "BS" to other people's beliefs, not that I would...

The Random, Meaningless Announcements Thread 3!

I made potato salad for dinner last night, and had sherbet for breakfast! Since my roommate is out of town for a week I've gotten to run amok! Actually no, mostly just napping and enjoying some alone time (didn't realize I needed a little more of it).

    On mantras

Literal meaning: Om is the sacred sound and purifies you as a "blank slate" for the rest of the mantra, so that nothing else interferes. Kleem is a bija like Om, but I'm not familiar with it directly. If it's like Kali's "Kreem" it prepares your mind for the energies of the rest of the mantra...

Thinking of going to a Durga Temple

Hi again. I've not went yet, was nervous and other things were going on. I plan to go early next week. And I got a serious follow up question... I shouldn't have my back to the deities.. I said something about this to someone in real life, joking I should walk backwards outside of the temple...

    my satanic hindu beliefs

Defining Satan and the nature of Satan would be a task onto itself. Since the direct symbolism of Satan isn't the whole of my beliefs, I sufficed with the 9 pointed list in the link I gave. I went ahead and bolded it and underlined it in case you missed it (forums won't let me display the url...
